great food, great atmosphere, great service!. loved the chowder! don't miss the oysters and fish cakes.niceto find a place with human portions for dessert rather than trying to serve you another meal.

it may take a bit of poking around to find this red building nestled under the impossible to miss bridge, but it is worth any exploration needed to get there. entrance is near the "bridge end" of the building.

reservations recommended.

they have a veryniceselection of small plates, and we had a couple of those along with a salad and dessert, all of them very nicely done and reasonably priced. service was great. a live jazz trip (thursday, friday, saturday, i think) was aniceadded touch, but that my have increased business, so we were barely able to get in without reservations.

it sits right on the water's edge, and has a beautiful view of the river, and the bridge which is there, but not overpowering.

anicetreat, in a verynicetown.

this is a great restaurant, with great food, a view and excellent wait staff.  we had a reservation and that scored us anicewindow seat on a beautiful sunny evening. this stop we both had something to drink, i had a fort george cavatica stout, which comes with the can since the can is fun, and my wife had the cherry hard cider on tap.  they were both good.  i opted for the special appetizer as a starter, scallops with a chimichurri sauce, which was great.  my wife had the peninsula cranberry salad and also loved it.  because of the chimichurri with the appetizer i opted for the puerco pibil, which is a latin american pork dish, and it was excellent.  my wife had seared ahi tuna "ah poivre" and loved it.  we were not done, we checked out the desserts and decided to try a trio. we both wanted to try the habanero-lime cheesecake, which was good and had a kick at the end so half of it each was a good idea.  my wife wanted to try the raspberry white chocolate bread pudding and really liked it.  i wanted to try the chocolate "bete noir" and also really liked it.  we will be back.

great choice!. stopped in on consecutive nights on a late august fishing trip. kept it simple the first night with burgers, salads, and a few glasses of veryniceoregon and washington wines. exceptional! the next night it was wallapa bay oysters, sauteed tender and tasty, and a fresh salmon dish. again, exceptional. friendly staff andniceview of the columbia river. spacious restaurant seating. several musicians one night was anicetouch, and not too loud. hope to be back next august and won't miss at least one night at the bridgewater.

sad to say though we must have had some cross contamination with gluten from our visit here because my daughter with celiac showed all the symptoms for several days following. still good food for those not so sensitive to gluten

good food and gluten free seems reliable because the owners have someone gluten intolerant in their family. great menu andnicemix of adventurous (eg mayan salad) and gourmet simple foods (eg cheeseburgers for the kids). care given by server and separate prep area made us comfortable bringing our daughter with celiac. no problems and good reviews for the entire table.
