very good dining experience. my wife and i, plus two friends dined at the bridgewater bistro for the first time on a friday night. over all, i would say it was good experience. we ordered the smoky tomato mac & cheese as an appetizer, and it was delicious with wonderful creamy, smoky, and tomato flavors. we also shared the mayan salad, which was another very good choice. the combination of ingredients is delightful. for the entree, i had wild columbia salmon on a bed of rice pilaf with mixed grilled vegetables. the salmon was cooked correctly and tasty, but the rice pilaf was fantastic! it had a buttery, creamy flavor that was unique, and the grilled vegetables complemented everything well. my wife ordered the wagyu steak, and hers was the only complaint for an otherwise splendid meal. she ordered her steak medium rare, but it arrived cooked more like medium well. it was somewhat dry and certainly not very juicy. at $35, i would expect the steak to be cooked perfectly. our server, however, did reimburse us partially for the botched steak. overall, we had a good dining experience, and we would probably give the brigewater bistro another try.
