amazing food and relaxing environment.

had a great time.

s’mores was a little bit too sweet - appreciate it if they have used dark choco instead of nutella.

tomato on their salad was a already mushy- prefer it crunchy.

otherwise, a great place for a date night.

very nice food and ambience and shah rukh was absolutely fantastic in the service he provided us. we will definitely be recommending it to others.

beautiful. and with the cooler weather, the view is great with the food - particularly their barbecues and steaks!

went today for thursday brunch. the food was average, lamb overcooked, chicken wings not freshly cooked, main course chicken overcooked, salmon not fresh, the singer was awful i think it doesn’t worth the penny, the venue is so nice and cozy. if they will change their food and the entertainment it will be a different story.. basically lots better options for the price

food was excellent and surely turkish feel to it! karim who served was warm and welcoming…would surely visit again..must try turkish iskender!

as the summer is almost waving a goodbye and the weather getting better, isn’t it time for some patio dining? brick rooftop kitchen is an awesome place to end the week with some awesome views of the capital, lovely green vines on a rooftop vibes ,amazing food with live music .

the food was amazingly made by henry and henrietta, the brick ovens😊

what we devoured:

starters:
- rustic sourdough bread
- roasted cumin spiced lamb ribs with smoked eggplant; the lamb was so beautifully cooked and it was surely melting in our mouth!
- crab meat and prawns cake with saffron aioli and garden salad was so flavorful and delicious
- roasted spicy cajun chicken wings; it’s one thing that can never ever go wrong, they are wings after all!
- eggplant rollatin. lightly breaded eggplant with ricotta cheese in pomadoro sauce and parmesan cheese; we being so hardcore non vegetarian lovers, we were surprised this humble veggie starter could beat all the other competing starters, hands down! i haven’t eaten a eggplant dish this tasty ever!

the starters are so elaborate that we almost filled our tummy with them even before the mains came in!

mains:
cedar plank norwegian salmon with garlic aioli and mixed greens
chicken tandoori pizza was just so cheesy and scrumptious, but quite big enough that we regretted leaving few slices as we couldn’t eat more !!

dessert:
fudge brownie with chocolate ganache and vanilla icecream was the perfect thing to end our wonderful evening with!!

hats off to the wonderful staff who were on their toes all the time serving the food one by one with a wide smile underneath their masks!

overall, a perfect place to start the weekend, as we bid goodbye to the long hectic week! ☺️☺️

had a lovely sundowner brunch experience at brick in aloft hotel. pretty capital views and a place with great vibes you can’t ask for a better thursday!

the brunch menu includes a regular selection of beers, whiskey, wines and 2 cocktails of which the brick brew was my fav! a gin based cocktail infused with indian spices that was quite refreshing.

the food included a variety of brick oven specialities covering rustic sourdough bread, baked chicken wings, crab&prawn cakes, a variety of pizza options and a eggplant rollatin which was really good. didn’t expect eggplant to taste so yum!

frankly the starters included so much that made us feel like we’re done but they also have mains and desserts included.
for me, the main courses were a bit boring and not the best (chicken & salmon dishes) but the desserts left us with a perfect sweet ending. they have s’mores and a really delicious chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream & topped with nuts. can’t complain!!

located on the 12th floor, brick is a perfect winter time spot if you’re looking to spend a relaxed evening with your partner, friends or family :)

food was ready in 5 mnts after ordering however very poorly plated and average tasting . possibly lamb was precooked and only heated up in the brick oven definitely not grilled as the meat was almost mushed and full of fat . it was a week night with only 2-3 tables occupied but no attempt by chef or manager to check with us about the feedback given even though they were around and almost free . only good thing was ambience and the sourdough bread . wont be back anytime soon !

my friend and i came here for the sundowner brunch. we were served by ana who was extremely professional and very fast with our orders. the food was lovely and the views from this place were extraordinary.

while taste is acceptable, it was served cold more than being hot. you don't enjoy the food if you feel it cold. it is not a big buffet, less than 10 items for main course. however service was great, and you will enjoy how all staff are polite and welcoming.

this place is a must visit because of its amazing view and an amazing ambience, we were in awe watching the view and having our food. didn’t think the place was meant for me as me being vegetarian had very limited options to choose from the menu,

from the starters, we had ordered rustic sourdough bread and the main course included cheese pizza. and that’s it, those were the only vegetarian options offered and they tasted nothing out of the ordinary. i was particularly disappointed as i had requested to provide me olives on the pizza instead of mushrooms which generally comes along with it. upon receiving my bill, they charged me for it. you’re swapping one topping with the other i do not think they should have charged. if that was the case, atleast inform the customer about it.

the drinks tasted great. ordered for a lemon mojito and pinotage wine which the server recommended me and i was quite pleased with it. didn’t have any complaints.

the service overall was quite average. as it was windy, we were promised that we would be provided blankets and made us shift our seats where they placed their patio heaters. however, none of them were even working and the blankets also were not provided. and that we came to know only after following up with them a number of times. it’s a general courtesy to apologize and inform the customer about the situation as we tie expectations.

overall, i felt the place is meant to order for just drinks and very light food perhaps, one can go for starters. the main course offering doesn’t justify the price. atleast for a vegetarian. otherwise the views are great. will come again for the views.
