bring a full wallet. this much anticipated joint venture between scott yeoman (masterchef contestant) and press business partners left me with mixed feelings about the establishment. the entrance is uniquely tunnel-like with white tiled walls and concrete floors giving it an industrial feel. you can eat in the tunnel or upstairs. we chose to sit upstairs because that's where the action is.

the place is predominantly burgers and hotdogs with a grill option. we shared the grilled trout, the soft-shelled crab burger, a hotdog and a side of french fries between two people. we also had both their desserts, which was the red velvet and chocolate ice cream and a peanut butter and popcorn ice cream.

everything tastes nice, although not amazing. a criticism of note would be the price point. for the size of each offerings, i think it is a tad extravagant.

having said that, the place is just lovely. nice warm lighting adds to the ambience. the service was very attentive (a little too at times, but we were happy to glaze over that because our waiter was pretty cute!)

am happy to give it another go, but next time, we will be getting four dishes between two. i hope to see them add a specials board in the future where they can introduce interesting fusions or contrasts to their burgers (which, at the moment, they are playing it safe). it would perhaps make them a standout amongst all the other burger and hotdog joints that seem to be flooding adelaide.

the cheeseburgers taste like actual mcdonalds cheeseburgers (even though we substituted a veg pattie). the whole meal, fries included, was eerily similar to a happy meal. but i didn't feel as guilty about it because i was sitting in a hip bar and the burger bun was shiny, and i paid more for it.

chop salad was nice if not a little under-dressed and under-seasoned.

i'm more likely to return here for a cheeseburger than i am to go to maccas, despite the fact the taste is the same and the cost here is higher. i'm at a loss as to why this is the case. alas, i am but a product of this world.

came here with a big bunch of mates. we managed to get a nice table easily.

generally the feedback from my friends were pretty much disappointment and still very hungry despite the huge cost. the basic burger here however tastes exactly the same as a maccas cheeseburger. pretty much everyone who ordered one agreed on this.

speaking for myself i ordered the crab burger which was nice but tiny. i was just as hungry before and after i ate the burger. it was accompanied by a generous service of very plain chips.

service however was really good.

overall pretty disappointed and won't be coming back. as one friend said, might as well go to maccas for less then half the price.

went with a group of ppl. very busy and cramped but enough room to sit and eat. food took a while. when it arrived it was as you expect burger and chips, it was very tasty. i would go back, try other burgers, maybe during a quieter time.

situated on a small one way street in central adelaide.
staff busy but available always.
good sized share tables not wide.
good acoustics.
had the fish burger soft delish bun and enough shoestring fries really.
chairs (stools) not rely comfortable but i suppose you are not going to sit there for hours.

really cool spot. dropped in for tea all on my lonesome. had the green beans which were on special, not sure if they were a starter but that's what i had them as. these had chilli, anchovies, hazelnuts and burnt butter. the serve was massive but i smashed the whole thing, delicious.
for main i had the 300, was nice, a little messy but that's what you get with a 300g burger patty!!
washed everything down with the pirate life ipa, nice but should have went for the hop hog.
staff were great and the place has a cool vibe. would defo return.

the zucchini fritters were unreal. burgers were good but i like brioche buns. pretty sure their buns were challah but never the less really good. would certainly go back for a burger and recommend if you want moderately cheap eats and cool vibe.

i decided on the b&b burger that had a beef patty and was layered with melted cheese, smoked bacon, tomato, lettuce, caramelised onion, pickle and drizzled with sauce and kewpie. on first bite it just reminded of a really good hungry jacks whopper and it mainly tasted of meat. sadly i couldn’t taste much of the kewpie and i love kewpie mayo :( b&b burger ($18.50) d grabbed the 300 and really enjoyed his 300g beef patty with double cheese, pickled onion, special sauce, onion rings and mustard. the 300 ($22) i’ve been eyeing the salted peanut brittle soft serve serve for a really long time on social media – it looks so darn pretty. a swirl of thick yet soft soft serve with sweet caramel tones which went really well with the fresh crunch of caramelised popcorn. i may just be nit picking but i felt there was a creaminess and smoothness missing in the soft serve texture. again, d loved this so it may be just be me. salted peanut brittle and caramelised popcorn soft serve ($8) this is a good place to catch up with lots of young waiters and a slight hipster vibe. service is very attentive and nice but felt a bit awkward to have waiters hovering to see if you have finished eating to whisk your plate away (i’m a slow eater). food in the end was average for me but then again i am not a burger fan so this may sit better with you than me. d enjoyed this place

dessert - apple soft serve with lemon curd, meringue and ginger crumble wow
service - exemplary and amazing

prices - a bit exe and higher than the menu above, obviously cashing in on their success

we quite enjoyed the burgers served in this restaurant. they were a little pricier compared to the average burger joints, but it was a satisfying meal. the waitresses were  polite and friendly as well.

good service and a superb steak!. i popped in to bread and bone for dinner whilst in adelaide for work. dining alone i was made welcome, and shortly afterwards found myself with a tasty negroni a glass of sparkling water and the menu. choosing the sirloin, medium rare, i then finished said negroni (which was great) and was then confronted by the tastiest steak i've eaten in ages. lovely cut of meat, rich flavour, perfectly cooked, and with a delicious gratin on the side; i was delighted. i was subsequently asked if my meal was ok as i was doing a great impression of stevie wonder. it was that good i was dancing in my seat.

highly recommended if you like a char grilled steak!

never ever disappointed with the food & service. last night's 50th birthday celebration was made even the better by the excellent service by the waiting staff & staff behind the counter. atmosphere is intimate & friendly and the staff cannot do enough to make your experience memorable.

worst $150 spent in my life. 50 mins to get our meals served and 4 out of 4 screwed up. both burger orders arrived with cold fries on a side with a really dry patty so my friends had to chase it with beer not to choke on. lamb chops - ordered medium rare- very much well done and just warm. my quail bird died for nothing - black on the outside, way overdone inside. didn't return it to the kitchen only because was too hungry after 50 mins wait and didn't want my friends to get even more upset. never again.
