had the "sanger" dish for 2. meat was good, as were condiments (pickles, oinion, mustard, etc) but seriously let down by the bread. sliced white supermarket style loaf that is clearly not fresh is not what i expect from a place with "bread" in the name. please use a brioche or vienna loaf at least to add some character, and keep it fresh!! seriously undone what could have been a good meal - on top of it all took 40min to come out from order. sorry but we won't be back.

came here for lunch today, we ordered the pork ribs as well as the beef short ribs... both were cooked to perfection and just the right proportion! definitely recommend!!!

had a nice dinner with work colleagues during the week at bread & bone. it is one of the popular establishments on peel street.

the decor and staff were pleasant.

we had a selection of the starters that we shared. all were tasty with the pumpkin fritters being the best. the wings were also nice.

for mains we all had burgers, i had the b&b burger that was a good burger.

certainly a place to return for a burger based meal if in the cities west.

adelaide has a lot to offer and this place is one of the better ones. i have been there a few times now and would go back for more

the good: burgers are yummy, cooked to my liking.
pea & pumpkin fritters awesome. the beef ribs are great. chicken wings and tenderloins are good as well.
ambiance is comfy, service has been always second to none. friendly and helpful.

the not so good: the chicken wings/tenderloins can be ordered as bloody hot - well, the general consent on our table was they are not really hot.
as they have a wide selection of drinks, on tap they have 4 beers and none of them was local....

regardless - will be back for more.

the food was yummy and the staff friendly and respectful. the atmosphere was nice and quiet when we got there (around 5pm).
onion rings were amazing! b&b burger was nice and simple and the chicken burger might need a bit more guacamole but was still really tasty!

the staff were very helpful and they also let me know what options on the menu were wheat/gluten free (gluten free burger buns!).
they were also happy to take my suggestions for the best gf beer brands too - i hope they eventually stock them (the bar is on my way home via the train station 😉).
the only issue i had was my white wine wasn't as cold as i expected, minor considering the good service

love the atmosphere and drinks list. burgers are good, definately one of the better burger joints. im not the biggest 'trendy burger joint' fan but you dont have to be to enjoy this place as they have an amazing hidden downstairs bar, mood lighting and music and a brilliant list of local beers (pirate life is my favourite).

loved my three little pigs burger. flavours worked together beautifully. my friend had the soft shelled crab burger which she described as divine. atmosphere dark and cosy, in the heatwave the aircon was struggling!

a friend and i came here for a sunday evening dinner. the service was friendly and efficient. i ordered the soft shell crab burger which was lovely which also comes with a serve of fries. good wine selection where we ordered a french bottle of red. it was pretty busy and obviously very popular.

came here on a monday night during summer when the cricket was on, cleary they didn't staff the necessary staff for the influx of customers that were going to come in, service was very very slow and food over priced for what you get, my burger was burnt but didn't bother sending in back because there was nobody around to speak too, overall i had high expectations of the venue after reading positive reviews and it was a major disappointment.

went along on fri 23/12 for lunch.
the place was packed.
nice enough fit out, service was very friendly and attentive.
the food however left a lot to be desired.
ordered the b&b hot dog for $17.50 and did not think it was worth it.
the vienna and the bun were not hot enough and the taste was not that great just smothered in kewpie.
my partner ordered the bloody hot chicken burger for $18.50 and it also was not that great not much chicken (what was there was still a bit pink) and the sauce was not that hot according to her both sides of chips were soggy and cold.
overall not a great food experience and definitely not worth all the hype.
all together 1 burger, 1 hot dog, 1 beer and 1 cider for $54 a bit to exie for me and we wont be rushing back in a hurry.
sorry
