great french no fuss. we finally got in to brasserie! the beer, wine and cocktail list is amazing! i'd go back just to try some of the unusual brews they carry. dinner was nice. we had the chicken liver pate, which was had a very bold liver flavor if you like that. i prefer a "softer" pate with a little more cream but i ate it none the less! the escargot's were a bit overcooked and tough, but the herb butter sauce was nice. salads were fabulous- especially my endive and watercress salad, which came with a slice of french blue and candied walnuts. the selection of blue complimented the sweet walnuts and bitter endive perfectly. he had the lyonnaise which was also very nice. for main course we both had chicken. mine roasted with jus and mushrooms and bread. his "au vin". both dishes were elevated by really nice compliment of the mushrooms and herbs- flavor combinations well thought out. sauces were buttery and rich. ambience was very casual, service was pleasant, staff very well trained, not a fork or a knife ever amiss. we'd go back for sure.
