bramonrestauranton bramon wine estate in the graggs serves a selection of mouthwatering, scrumptious tapas style dishes along with their outstanding wines.
i loved the salads and the fresh bread.
what sets them apart is the location in the vineyard. when the weather permits, one can sit right the vineyard among the vines.
friendly and fast service. they accommodated us with our two small dogs on the verandah.
loved it!

what a glorious discovery thanks to tripadvisor, enroute to st. francis we managed a lunch stop at this quaintrestaurantset in a small vineyard. the service is wonderfully friendly, the food absolutely delectable and the view priceless. can't wait to go back and spend more time there! (and eat and drink everything on the menu.)

a great restaurant, recommended for summer. sit at a table on the terrace or book one situated between the vines of the farm, to get the full experience. looking out over the vineyards, one could be in tuscany. order dishes of tapas off the menu and enjoy is with a few glasses of sparkling wine produced by the bramon estate. oh yes, order the bread to go with your meal, it's freshly baked. this is arestaurantwith a laid back yet up market atmosphere. on the way out, stop at the estate wine store and buy a few bottles to take home, you will not regret is.

bramon is such a wonderful addition to plett- the setting in the crags is magnificent and a welcome break from the sea and sand, but less than 30 min drive from plett centre. we first visited bramon shortly after it opened about 6 years ago and with such fond memories of dining in the vineyards, we couldn't wait to get back. our only reservation on arrival was that our memory of the tapas-style menu from about 6 years ago, was that the selection had been a bit boring back then - we needn't have worried as the current menu selection and food was simply fantastic! there was enough selection to mix and match to keep our "fussy" kids happy, whilst still meeting the adult need for variety, taste and fulfillment. a really enjoyable afternoon that i highly recommend. i have only one gripe - the coffee was absolutely terrible! i just cannot understand how arestaurantlike this can get everything right, from amazing setting and ambience to a wonderful food selection that is worthy of the price tag, yet they completely fall down when it comes to the coffee! despite this, i will definitely be back and this time it will not be after a 6 year break.

what a fantastic restaurant🍾 therestaurantis nestled in amongst the vineyard and the views of the surrounding mountain ranges are spectacular! the food does the setting justice and can best be described as a formal picnic. i can definitely recommend the bubbles that are produced in the surrounding vineyards! for such a fantastic experience it was really decently priced, however, it is very full over the december period and prior bookings is essential! all in all it was a fantastic experience and i highly recommend it🙌🏻

today was one of those days where i had to ask myself "do i go to arestaurantfor good food only, or do i want that warm reception when entering, a waiter that wants to be there, have my order taken timely, have a the waiter come ask you if you want anything else or maybe have my take aways dealt with before the food have reached it's sell by date?".

well, i've come to the conclusion that seeing i'm paying for the food on my plate, the service received and even a tip for good service given, i think i deserve all this. not just tasty food.

i think my rating of a 5 a week ago needs reviewing and will now drop to a 2. the first time we ate here i felt sorry for you as you guys were busy and i thought that's why there was no service. being the very first guests at your tables today and getting the same service, i think the drop in rating i'm giving you is well deserved.

you can't come to the garden route without stopping here. boutique wine estate with a small, intimaterestaurantserving tapas and a small selection of local wine and bubbly.
in summer you can sit on the patio by the vineyards, or if cold and wet like when we visited, inside with the fireplace is just as cosy and inviting.
choose from a wide list of tapas options to complement your wine. food is fresh, flavourful and deliciously prepared. easy to overindulge with so many flavours on offer and such a great environment to enjoy them in

definitely one to add to your list of things to do next time you're in the garden route, bramon wines is a family run wine estate with an awesomerestaurant(if you book early enough you can get a table in the vineyards, such a cool experience!)

we tried out selection of bramon’s wines, my favourite was the mcc, followed closely by the crags rosé, both wines were crisp and fresh and perfect accompaniments to the food.

the menu at the bramonrestaurantis set out to encourage (read: oblige) sharing, which is really my favourite way of eating out – no risk of food envy at all! think pates and dips, salads, cold meats, cheeses and finger food all served with soft, fresh bread and washed down with icy wine and you’ve got the idea. we had a couple plates of just about everything on the menu from strawberry and biltong salad to sticky chicken wines and baked camembert – and at the risk of eating myself into a food coma, i had to have it all! it was that good. we finished it off with a lemon sorbet served in a lemon skin – so cute and tasty too.

the prices aren't too bad, just be careful how much food your order, rather start with too little and order more as you go along.

by far my favourite vineyard in the garden route area and amongst the likes of packwood etc there simply is no comparison! bramon is a boutique wine estate with a 250 ton working cellar, their lovelyrestaurantand of course a tasting centre conveniently located alongside the roadside. bramon boutique vineyard in my opinion, is a 'hidden gem' of mass proportions in an unbeatable, exquisite location overlooking their stunning vineyards in a comfortable and relaxed setting..

bramon is named after peter (and caroline) thorpe's children, bram and manon, and peter's incredible brilliance with all things wine has just catapulted his brand to award-winning fame producing his methode cap classique (mcc) sparkling wine and more recently a beautiful sauvignon blanc “the crags”. bramon was the first estate situated in the crags and peter's passion to create a ‘sparkling wine route’ is inspiring!

bramon's wines will cost you r10 per tasting and their lunches at therestaurantare mainly a tapas menu (of freshly baked bread, salads and a selection of other small dishes). namely:
1. rocket, pear and blue cheese salad - a firm favourite of mine.
2. avo & roast parmesan salad
3. snoek pate
4. springbok carpaccio
5. smoked salmon
6. stuffed beef fillets and many more delicious offerings..

update: friday 18 december 2015: another wonderful visit to bramon with a table of 8 family and friends.. updated review of all the wonderful food and wine to follow soon.

*recommendation: love love love this beautiful family run and owned vineyard's charm, bubbly and food! they are, however, incredibly busy over the december and january period so i would recommend booking to avoid disappointment here..
