definitely one to add to your list of things to do next time you're in the garden route, bramon wines is a family run wine estate with an awesome restaurant (if you book early enough you can get a table in the vineyards, such a cool experience!)
we tried out selection of bramon’s wines, my favourite was the mcc, followed closely by the crags rosé, both wines were crisp andfreshand perfect accompaniments to the food.
the menu at the bramon restaurant is set out to encourage (read: oblige) sharing, which is really my favourite way of eating out – no risk of food envy at all! think pates and dips, salads, cold meats, cheeses and finger food all served with soft, freshbread and washed down with icy wine and you’ve got the idea. we had a couple plates of just about everything on the menu from strawberry and biltong salad to sticky chicken wines and baked camembert – and at the risk of eating myself into a food coma, i had to have it all! it was that good. we finished it off with a lemon sorbet served in a lemon skin – so cute and tasty too.
the prices aren't too bad, just be careful how much food your order, rather start with too little and order more as you go along.
