not great. we had been looking forward to going to br prime for a while now, and it was my birthday so decided to go. cool room, good service (sort of), interesting menu. so, we ordered the foie gras ap, which was good, and a wedge salad, which was so-so. we also ordered the trio of fish tar tars, which never arrived. when our mains came out, i asked about the tar tars and the server asked if we wanted them now. um, no. she was very apologetic, but that was almost the only thing that we couldn't reproduce at home, which was why we ordered it. i ordered a bone in strip, medium rare, and it was medium. good piece of meat, but cooked wrong and undersized. for $45, i can go to whole foods and get 2 of those steaks and cook it at home. sides were duck fat fries, which were not awful, but notgreateither. hopjacks in mobile has better. also, a medley of mushrooms, which were forgettable. dessert selection was okay, but at this point we just wanted to pay and leave. the server wanted to comp us a dessert for the app mess up, and it being my birthday, they brought one of the menu items, a poached pear thing that looked and tasted like a sundae from dairy queen. all in all, a forgettable meal, that while not awful, for $200, should have blown me away. we won't be back.
