my wife and i visited br prime add part of our anniversary celebration. fantastic food. the best steak i've had in recent memory. awesome service. we had marvin as our waiter. beyond great. he took such good care of us. i am willing to take the hour+ drive, just to duplicate the experience we had.

food was only average and way overpriced. i ordered sole first and it was terrible. the waiter quickly whisked it away and asked if i would like to order something different, so i ordered the trout. it was overcooked and dry, but i did not send it back. it included some fingerling potatoes and crab which were good. the dessert souffle was very good. the waiter charged for the sole that was sent back to the kitchen as well as the new order of trout, but corrected the charge when it was pointed out.

great food, great service. only complant is you now have to ask for the bread now. it's poor management. when you start cutting back on what makes a great restaurant you loose customers in the end.

save your money. over priced and over rated, $50 filet was not any better than the $16 one at texas roadhouse, actually at tr they get the temp right every time , my filet was overcooked at brp. lobster app was $26 and four little bites and over cooked and seasoned. duck fat fries were not cooked in df i would guess, i have been a chef for 30 years and these had not seen a touch of duck fat, they were sysco coated french fries cooked in reg fat, veg was undercooked. service was good but a little over pretentious, i wanted warm soufflé for dessert and of course if i known it was on the menu would have ordered before hand but waiter did not tell me and its a 45 min cook time. my wife and i were there for a anniversary dinner and nicely dressed, other guests in shorts, flip flops, t-shirts. at these prices there should be some sort of dress code. we dropped $250 with tip and very disappointed.

great atmosphere, but the food just does not compare. i have been wanting to try out this place for ages, so i was finally taken to br prime for my 21st birthday. the atmosphere and service was impeccable. as for the food, i was not impressed at all. going into this night we expected to spend a decent amount of money being that it is ala carte, but for the quality of some of their items it was a total joke. ordered a dozen raw oysters that were priced at $36! they were a decent size and juicy, but really? $36 is just ridiculous. my boyfriend and i decided to share an entrée, which was the chef’s special of the night. it was i believe 28 day aged bone-in rib eye, cooked medium rare. we ordered brussels sprouts and lobster mac and cheese for our sides and also asked our server what she would recommend for our third side item. she was quick to say mushroom medley. she made it sound so good so we were sold on it! when our meal came out, i was disappointed to see the meat was cooked pretty rare. i only ate the outside of it were it was more charred, but it wasn’t a huge issue. our side items were pretty bad. lobster mac and cheese had no lobster taste in it, only had a tiny piece of lobster in the middle. after trying to pick the burnt pieces off our brussels sprouts we finally had to complain to our server. they were literally black! she quickly comped it off our check, but goodness the mushrooms were not at all what we expected. for $11 we got a plate of mushrooms that you would get on your steak, you know those sliced up ones sautéed. it was entirely to salty anyways. i’m glad we got to experience it, but i would probably not come back. the food is just not worth the price.

they get five stars for ambience and presentation, about 4 stars for food. for the price, i'd rather go to chris' steakhouse. i'm glad we tried it. i had the lobster bisque and filet with a blue cheese crust. my hubby wasn't impressed with his filet. however we enjoyed our sides broccolini and his potatoes. nice to be able to stay put and not leave the beau to dine. prob won't be visiting again. lovely wait staff and cozy surroundings!

can't go wrong here!. br prime at the beau is one of the best restaurants i've eaten in. the atmosphere was very swanky, the service fantastic and the food even more fantastic. the lobster tempura was one of the best appetizers i have ever had and the delmonico steak was one of the best steaks. if you are looking for a really nice dinner you can't go wrong at br prime.

not great. we had been looking forward to going to br prime for a while now, and it was my birthday so decided to go. cool room, good service (sort of), interesting menu. so, we ordered the foie gras ap, which was good, and a wedge salad, which was so-so. we also ordered the trio of fish tar tars, which never arrived. when our mains came out, i asked about the tar tars and the server asked if we wanted them now. um, no. she was very apologetic, but that was almost the only thing that we couldn't reproduce at home, which was why we ordered it. i ordered a bone in strip, medium rare, and it was medium. good piece of meat, but cooked wrong and undersized. for $45, i can go to whole foods and get 2 of those steaks and cook it at home. sides were duck fat fries, which were not awful, but not great either. hopjacks in mobile has better. also, a medley of mushrooms, which were forgettable. dessert selection was okay, but at this point we just wanted to pay and leave. the server wanted to comp us a dessert for the app mess up, and it being my birthday, they brought one of the menu items, a poached pear thing that looked and tasted like a sundae from dairy queen. all in all, a forgettable meal, that while not awful, for $200, should have blown me away. we won't be back.
