bourbon street bar & grill

cajun style shrimp and grits. outstanding! you have to try this meal. it is served as is. if you want a salad to go with it, good luck eating everything. sat at the bar and had an enjoyable time talking to the owner and the lady behind the bar. i would say that my wife and i have found a great place to eat. they have outside seating ready for your summer enjoyment. the interior is a little jumbled and you can tell the owner is trying to use the small rooms to the maximum. drinks and meal for 2 for under $50.

restaurant owners favorite restaurant. my husband and i own the old #3 in eastern wa. i do most of the cooking there. it's hard to impress me at a restaurant. bourbon street is impressive! they cook better than me, and isn't that why we go out? they're amazing!

a gastronomic delight and a refreshing change from the status quo restaurants.  the portions are respectable for the price.  the waitstaff is excellent.  they know when to be of assistance and when to let one enjoy the meal without interruption.

i rued the roux

the first time visiting my friend had a shrimp po-boy and i had etouffee.   both were well seasoned and worth the price. 

this second time, as a pick up, will likely be my last.   the jambalaya ($19.95) was well seasoned and made small meals.   the gumbo ($11.95) on the other hand was nasty.   it had all the ingredients, but something went severely wrong with the roux.  i can't identify the taste.  sour?  chemical?   whatever it was it was unpleasant and most of it went into the trash.

reservations suggested, good drinks, good service and good etouffee.
the bar area can seem a little crowed but then so is bourbon street in the big easy

great cajun food found in the pacific northwest. i had the fried oyster poboy and it was great. great selection of local brew and friendly helpful staff.

my first time having lunch here. love the food of new orleans and they weren't too bad for the pac northwest. wait staff was very nice and on point. my only complain is the tackiness of mike the own. i'm the middle of my lunch he had me move my car that was parked in an unmarked area. but he didn't have the stones to come and ask me personally he had the bar tender do it for him. balless!!!!wont come hear again and i will spread the word around my circle of friends.

excellent spot for quality authentic nawlins cuisine. have enjoyed each meal there. lots is choices and excellent bar service also. service a little slow but worth it.

the food was amazing! i had ordered the jambalaya and didn't specify between rice or pasta and after changing my order my server quickly got the menu item i wanted! at the end of the night when it grew dark they even lit candles and the atmosphere was just so easy going. amazing service and food. hidden gem!!

best burger and drink in puyallup!!!!. the drinks are pure art and the food is good enough to eat breakfast lunch and dinner all topped off with five star service

'just returned from our 3rd visit to bourbon street bar & grill (twice for dinner, once for lunch) and am happy to report that once again, we were more than pleased with the quality of our meals, sizeable portions, reasonable pricing and friendly & attentive service. our meals, to date, have been robustly seasoned and flavorful, and simply but nicely presented. the atmosphere is cozy, warm and unpretentious. we will definitely be returning .

lunch is great. i've only been in for lunch but it was not crowded or loud at all. food tasted really good, not great, but good enough to come back for sure.

food was great!. went there with my husband and friends after reading many reviews, both good and bad. was greeted by the owner, waited on by the bartender. i had a bayou banshee drink, which reminded me of a lemon drop--pretty good. the food was excellent. i had a garden salad, and the blackened chicken with cajun potatoes and brussels sprouts--all seasoned well and cooked perfectly. my husband had gumbo, which had a great smoky taste, and the cajun chicken pasta, which he said was was a little bland (he loves spicy). my friend had the filet mignon medallions with the cajun potatoes and cole slaw and finished every bite. her husband had the gumbo and jambalaya, piled high with seafood, and loved it. the service was good and attentive. the owner kept checking on us. except for being out of shrimp and grits, and switching around things on our checks (it didn't matter on the amounts so we just left it), it was a great time! we will definitely go back to try the other dishes!

i really really enjoyed all of our food. the shrimp is definitely the best i have had. my steak was seasoned and cooked perfect. theowner was very nice and checked on us very often. they also had irish death on rap which i love. my ply complaint waslimited seating

we won't be trying this place again. the seating is way too crowded and the noise level makes conversation impossible. our appetizer arrived at the same time as our meal. my steak was over cooked and room temperature. the waitress spoke to the manager/owner about our concerns, but he never bothered to come chat with us, nor did they offer to comp any portion of our bill. too many other good restaurants in the area to waste my money here.
