the $34.99 all you can eat brunch is still one of my favorite brunches in town. i’ve dined at the mandalaybaylocation and recently tried their second location in the forum shops. my favorite items include the plantain empanadas, huevos rancheros, yucatan egg benedict, churro tots, and tres leeches french toast. less successful are the pigs in a blanket and the serrano ham waffle (the saltiness and chewiness of the ham was just weird to have in the waffle). it is a little pricey for brunch, but you may end up eating so much you’ll skip lunch and dinner. the “all you can drink” mimosas were also a huge plus.

hit the new location for lunch and we were happy.  the food was exactly what you'd expect.  high end mexican food with really nice touches.  i had the skillet nachos and it was huge.  enough to feed three.  my wife had tacos and i snagged a bite for "research" purposes.  also very tasty!  even the chips and salsa seem to just be perfect.

we have visited the location in mandalaybaybefore but i really liked this spot.  we will be visiting for dinner on a trip soon.

chefs mary sue milliken and susan feniger are the creators of the border grill restaurant. the first restaurant was located on melrose avenue and in 1990, moved to its current home on 4th street in santa monica. since then, border grill has expanded to las vegas at mandalaybayresort and casino (1999) and the forum shops at caesars (2014).

. i decided to try out the border brunch on sunday morning at their mandalaybaylocation, featuring over twenty small plates to choose from. unlimited small plates are $34.99 and you can choose to add bottomless mimosas for $10....if you are traveling to las vegas be sure to stop by the border grill. the brunch is fabulous...
