my fiance and i have been regulars at boo's for about four years. i have nothing bad to say about the food. i will never return to this place again however, based on the way i was treated over the phonetodaybe a male staff member (or perhaps the owner himself.)
the previous evening i went to boo's after work with friends. being in a particularly good mood i left a $10.00 tip on two beers.todayi noticed i have misplaced a pocket knife that i use at work. i figured there was a chance it fell out of my bag at boos sotodayi called to ask if anyone had found it. a female answered and i told her i may have lost my pocketknife. while she was looking into it the phone seemed to cut out.. i called back and a male answered. i began to say it is possible i dropped my pocketknife if they find it maybe they could call me back. the man cut me off and snapped at me: "we don't have your knife, and we aren't calling you back." and then hung up on me! wtf.
in total both calls lasted about 15 seconds i was stunned. there was absolutely no reason to speak to me this way. i can only think of two males who work front of house, near the phone. i was either speaking to their seemingly jovial bartender, or equally seemingly nice owner. one of them just lost boo's two regular guests and earned a serious g.f.y. in this review. and for no logical reason. my only wish is i could take my $10 tip, crumple it up and flick it in the face of whomever answered the phone.
