"desert". pizza was great but when ending the meal ( ok. maybe not after pizza... choose something else) finish with the carmalized banana item. soooo good.

great place, great food, wish the staff was friendlier. i love the space, and what they're trying to do here. the execution of the menu (although very limited) has been great the 5 or so times i've been. my only complaint is that the service has been mediocre at best and a couple times absolutely horrible. i can handle fumbling service-at least someone is trying- but this is more like certain members of the staff feel like you as a customer should be honored they are taking the time to wait on you. i've sat at the bar on a couple occasions, and while one of the bartenders is friendly enough and takes care of you, the other one acts like he genuinely doesn't like people. he purposely avoids eye contact so that it's impossible to get his attention when you need something, and when you finally do it's like he's put out that he has to get you something.

i obviously like this place enough to keep going back (although now i have to go solo, as my wife won't put up with the service issues), and i really hope it does well as i think it makes a great addition to the neighborhood. i've worked in restaurants and i understand it's not an easy job, but just being friendly isn't all that difficult. if i notice a positive change i'll be sure to come back and report on it.

great food -- but help me understand the music choice?!. this is a great little place and a welcomed edition tothe neighborhood. nice mix of food on the menu; great choices of wines both by the glass and bottles; and their take on bruschetta is genius and a must -- for those reasons, i have to give bolsa two thumbs up !!

however: if i have to listen to one more waiters ipod of head banging music, cranked up too loud during a nice date-night evening, i swear i will walk out. someone take control of the music -- its killing the atmosphere. save it for the happy hour crowd or later of an evening after dinner if that's the crowd you get!!

this is not a cheep evening for two (app't, one glass a wine a piece, entree, desert = 90$) so don't cheapen your establishment with .99 cent rocker downloads.

thanks !
