gluten-free eggs benny!. friends and i made a huge trek up north to go to the blue star diner, and were not disappointed. the atmosphere was very good and the coffee was delicious. i had the gluten-free eggs benedict with avocado and bacon, which was delicious! i couldn't even tell it was gluten-free, which is the true test. thumbs up!

love the blue star burrito. it's intimidating going to the busy new breakfast diner in bridgeland. whenever you go you can almost guarantee a line of at least 30 to 45 minutes long. there's a hype surrounding blue star and after visiting, i think it's well deserved.

i fell in love with the blue star burrito. it's absolutely huge - it's filled with three eggs, veggies, and refried beans and totally delicious. a great mix of ingredients topped with avocado, it was incredibly hearty. the tortilla wrap was also warm and perfectly grilled - a nice mix of soft and crunchy.

this new breakfast venture by dairy lane is a hit in my opinion. i was really impressed with the quality and amount of food. i could get used to visiting this diner, especially considering the other great breakfast spots down the street on edmonton tr.

enter blue star and enter calgary wholesomeness. the clean modern white and blue atmosphere is a wonderful backdrop for the poster sized photos of the authentic south cslgaty farm and farmer who supplies their local fresh ingredients. the meals are simple, fresh, and there a great variety for the gluten free diner. sometimes it takes a bit longer to get your food but if you're not in a hurry the wait is worth it!

the place was humming, but it didn’t feel crowded. the dining area itself wasn’t very large, but felt spacious as the tables weren’t packed in too close together. the tables were square, instead of the annoying rectangular, which facilitated the flow of conversation, but left plenty of room for your plates and utensils. and of course, when you first walk in, you are immediately greeted by the bar, with its row upon row of glasses and wine bottles. i almost considered givin

the restaurant was a great surprise very clean and certainly not what i expected. the lamb burger was fantastic, the fries excellent . the service was also very good. to top it off the waitress was a total babe. highly recommend this place. i would eat here again even with out the hot waitress

small servings --high prices. one of those new diner's must try. if you want a great meal, great service, warm atmosphere, and still afford to eat dinner later that day, go to red's diner or overeasy.

at the prices they charge, they must as well change the name to michelin star diner because of what you get for what you pay for. the food is warm, service is attentive, and the coffee fresh....honestly though, do you expect anything else....its pretty hard to screw up an eggs bennie or an omellette. if you must try, why not? otherwise, drive towards edmonton trail and go somewhere else.

the menu is only a legal-sized, two-sided (one for breakfast, one for lunch) sheet, but there was still so much to choose from that it was very difficult to decide what to order. i was also impressed by all the local producers that were featured on the menu, as well as the gluten-free and vegetarian choices that were available.

best burger!. i think this is my favourite burger in calgary. fries are great and the size is more than enough for me. onion bun is perfect and the sauce is unique, but a flavour that anyone would like.

great great service and very clean.

perfect place for my late lunches.

best experience ever! we did have a wait a bit, but b/c of that rob took care of our drinks! we had amazing service and amazing food. the whole experience was perfect. i will for sure go back again and again!!!

ah-mazing. this place is exactly how a breakfast place should be...great service, and even better local organic food, not to mention that there is actually some vegan friendly options to choose from. the line is never too bad, we usually come a bit later in the morning....much better than waiting in line at diner deluxe or overeasy. very friendly and inviting with the neutral colors. and everyone seems welcome, not like some breakfast places (cough cough) that have numerous hipster waiters standing around doing nothing, looking like they just want to get their photo in the newest issue of ffw. the staff here are amazing, actually talk to you. it's a great addition to bridgeland and we will be back, again and again. thanks blue star!

we ate a grilled cheese sandwich with slices of granny smith apple, sautéed onions and sylvan star gruyere ($12.95) with skinny fries and baked beans.

great for vegetarians, gluten free and meat eaters alike!. the blue star diner has something for everyone. i went there with my husband who is gluten free and i am a vegetarian. i was pleasantly surprised at the wide array of options for everyone. he had a gluten free eggs benedict something he hasn't been able to enjoy since he found out he was gluten intolerant. i had a veggie omelet that was very statisfiing. i can't wait to try their wide array of veggie burgers etc. for lunch :)

if you're reading this post and are a meat eater not to worry there is a lot of choice for you too!

i've been here three times so far. always amazing! the staff are friendly, the food is awesome, the coffee is delicious, and the decor of this diner is the best in the city. love it! glad the dairy lane has finally expanded!

absolutely fantastic, even if you have to wait to get in you can lounge on the sidewalk with a coffee or chocolate milk!
