a change of pace. the menu has a nice variety of dishes and i was looking for somehting that was not a chain. i throughly enjoyed the meal. i started with an appetizer, theseafoodvol au vent was delicious i highly reccomend. the main coiurse i went with the dailyseafoodspecial grilled turbo served over an arugula pistachio pesto. i had to try this, it was very good. i finished witha very tasty lemon dessert. my server, emily was very attentive as was the entire staff. the owner was present but i did not find him hovering and he greeted all the guests politely. the meal was a bit more than i would typically spend but for the level of serve, the nice presentation of all the dishes and the orginiality of the menu and specials it was reasonable. this is a great place i high reccomend you give it a try. perfect of an evening out with your spouse or special someone. i would reccomend keeping the children at home. i went on a wednesday night i would suggest reservations on a busier evening

one if the two or three best restaurants in york. i like the byob. the decor and furnishings are spartan, but the food is consistently excellent. we eat here about once a month and i can't remember ever having a bad meal. the specials are fresh and generally excellent. my wife loves the roast duck. theseafoodpreparations are excellent and they have the best mussels in the region. call for reservations on the weekends, because the seating is limited.

it's always a pleasure to dine here. the quality of the food is consistently delicious. lunch options include soups, salads, sandwiches, and platters. dinner menu has a nice variety of items: meat,seafoodand a vegetarian option. a byob restaurant. my favorite menu items include steamed mussels, chocolate mousse, red beet salad, coq au vin, and the fish entrees. one of yorks outstanding restaurants
