in my opinion here is the best food in york. chef david picked a tough time to strike out on his own, on the cusp of the worst economic times most of us have ever lived through. i pray he, and you too, make it through this dark time. his establishment is the millenium falcon of york: she may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts. cheap signage, cheap address, cheap window treatments, exposed cheap hvac returns, cheap furniture, byob...on your first visit you'll wonder if the food can actually be any good. my wife and i dine here at least twice a month. lunch for two, with tip, under $25 and reminds you how good blue moon used to be. we lost colosseo this year. please come to blue heron. overhead is low so prices for gourmet eats are amazingly low. let's not lose chef david to this recession.
