last eve we attended tasting event @bluegrill_yasisland of their newly launched menu prepared by chef mokhtar and it was incredible experience. nestled on yas plaza, @bluegrill_yasisland at @yasislandrotana has built a reputation for quality steaks from around the globe.

@bluegrill_yasisland new menu offers variety of juicy, thick meats which are too good to turn down.

we tried slow cooked short ribs along with two chunks of beef – tenderloin and rib-eye that were cooked to absolute perfection, meaning our knives slice through the tender meat with consummate ease.

i personally loved their clam chowder soup,short ribs,both ribeye and tenderloin steaks and ofcourse yummiest desserts so next time when you are there don’t forget to try these dishes.

it’s a laid-back venue, thanks to the lighting and an outstandingservicethat was all what you expect from a fine dining restaurant.

one of the best steakhouse for us. place is posh but unfortunately kids are not allowed in as it is also a bar. food is excellent.serviceis good. it is a bit pricey but worth it.
will i recommend it? yes for a romantic dinner

the food is amazing and theservicewas great. sam and athena both were awesome servers, they made sure we left happy from the restaurant.

theserviceis excellent, the ambiance is so classy. and the server (forget his name ) is very energetic, he knows how to deal with the guest properly and he recommend yummy steak so we order it and it was freshly delivered on our table, delicious, super!!yuummm yummmm i will recommend this restaurant in my workmates as well.. definitely worth coming back..

the minute we stick a cartoon video in front of our 4 year old’s face, you can be sure we love your food. we love the ambience,serviceand the look and smell of the food so much that we want to give our complete attention to it and just pretend as if the brat at the table is not ours. so we dig up peppa pig or the like, distract the little one with it and sink back into the cushions smiling into a beautiful dinner ahead. that’s when you know we think mighty big of your restaurant. the dinner at blue grill steakhouse in yas island rotana evoked those feelings in us and thus, we hereby endorse the place for the fantastic food they serve to its unsuspecting diners.

the atmosphere was great. theservicewas slow and bad, the waiter said i will bring the menu and he totally forgot about us, even though the place was half busy. i had to get up and go tell them where is the menu. and the food took more than 40 min to prepare. overall slowserviceand wasted a lot of time being ignored. i had to request the heater 3 times for them to get it.

regarding the food we ordered master kobe and aus wagyu. both were below average and the steak had a weird smell in it. i cant recommend this restaurant and i think they should look into theirserviceand improve it.

we wanted to celebrate easter but not a fan of brunches and big buffets, so we decided to go for a steakhouse since it has been a while we didn’t eat meat. we haven’t visited blue grill for nearly a year, we were impressed with the menu as it changed and the steak was amazing, perfectly cooked. theservicewas amazing, staff were very attentive and the ambiance was really great and quiet, eventhough there were kids dining there, but you wouldn’t even realize that if you are not looking around. we will definitely visit again soon.

nice restaurant. quite pricey for food and drinks. would benefit from more atmospheric lighting and music. also the ac is so cold that the food was chilled in seconds, sadly. sometimesserviceis very slow despite the place being only half full.

this wasn't our first trip to blue grill, but it was potentially the best trip so far. the restaurant was quite busy for a wednesday night, but the atmosphere was still quite enjoyable. we got a nice table by the window and settled in for a meat heavy meal.
the menu is fairly simple and everything you would except out of a steakhouse. we decided on the scallops for a starter and then a 600 g porterhouse and a wagyu fillet. all of the offerings were very good and both steaks were cooked perfect. i tend to like my steak blue (ultra rare) and to my delight it was not over cooked at all.
i'd say theservicewas excellent, and my only complaint was potentially a lack of choices for sides.....other than that it was a great meal and we will return soon.

steaks are very tasty & well cocked. also the grilled chicken is so tasty. theserviceis very good. it is a cozy place to have a heavy dinner. the jumbo shrimp appetizer is highly recommended. the grape juice menu is variable & rich.
prices are high, but the food quality & taste let you totally satisfied.

worth the drive! the place is a bit quiet and closes kind of early even on weekends but the food,serviceand exposed kitchen are great! for apetitzers we had buffalo mozerella salad, crab cakes, calamari and scallops ... all items kept us happy while waiting for our delicious steak mains! the chocolate souffle is good but they need to bring the fondant back on the menu it was soooooo good!

worst place ever try boa or marco pierre white or stills instead! the food and theserviceis terrible. got food poison from the oysters. steak is either over cooked! or under cooked!

excellent. the food was very good. although a bit expensive it is wort a trip to experience some fine food. theserviceis top notch.

had dinner here last weekend, and was it ever good. this place is a little expensive, but worth the drive and money if you can afford it. if you are looking to impress that special someone, or even a business associate, this is the place to check out. i heard it gets a little crowded after 8 pm at night, so my visit was right around 6 pm or so. at this hour there was only one other table being occupied, soservicewas quick. i was truly impressed with the level of professionalism the staff portrayed. it was obvious they had been schooled in the proper etiquette that one would expect at a four star establishment. outstanding job blue grill, i like the way you make the customer feel special. no complaints on this place, just can't afford to eat here that often.

the blue grill is very good,excellentserviceand great food.alittle pricey,but as i said great food.the steaks are cooked to perfection,the oysters are great,the calimari is great,great atmosphere.good wine selection,and good mixed drinks.i love that you can set there and watch the cooks too thru the window.so if you want to take the wife or a date to impress,this is the place..
