great restaurant!. i just came back from my first visit to the blue dolphin, and i would definitely go back again! the food was delicious, the portions generous, and the service was wonderful. chris, our waiter, was very attentive without hovering. i felt that his service was just right, including bringing us fresh glasses of iced tea/soda without us having to ask, and before our original glasses were empty.
i only had a hamburger and fries, but it was generous and nicely done. we ordered some onion rings as an appetizer, and i couldn't believe the size of them. there were probably only 9 or 10 rings, but they were huge! each one probably equalled 3 regular onion rings, and they were pretty tasty. my friend ordered the crabcake sandwich, and that crabcake was also huge! and they aren't kidding when they say "jumbo lump" crabmeat! my friend said it was verygood- she had been to the blue dolphin once before, and went for the crabcakes then, too.
anyway, five stars! try it! food, portions, service, and atmosphere are all wonderful!
oh, and btw - it is not "cash only," as it says. maybe it was at one time, but they take cards now...
