i'm not sure why thisplaceis so popular with all the college students in this town. for what you get, it's terribly overpriced and the food is average. i've tried so many times to like thisplacebut i have yet to feel impressed. im looking forward to te opening of panera bread co.

nothing worth going back. me and the wife had lunch here the other weekend. i am to blame for that because thisplaceshows up as the #1 best cheap eats in cs. this was a biiiig mistake... :(
we ordered two sandwiches something with blue cheese and something else.....the food was so insignificant that i even forget what i ordered....this is highly uncharacteristic of me... the worst part was the price. i ended up spending $20+ for two sandwiches that tasted boring and insignificant and we didnt order the priciest items anyway.
unfortunately jason's deli being the run of the millplaceit is serves better food than this blue baker joint.
i will recommend never going here. go to jason's deli instead. better tasting food and lower prices.

great bread, but pricey.. i've been to blue baker several times at both locations and can't recall being dissappointed. and with them making the bread & dough... it is really what makes thisplaceso good. the pizzas are on the thin side compared to the deep dish style i usually like, but good none the less. the sandwiches are great, but vary in size on every visit and location (seems like the dominik location's sandwiches are on avg bigger than the university location). the cookies, brownies and pastries are great too. they also have soups in homemade bread bowls and salads which are good also. and the home made breads everyday.... mmm. (especially shiner sunday, when they make the shiner bock bread... pick up some, and take it home and attack it with some butter.... yum)
now comes the bad part, the price. the artisan breads and premium ingredients taste great... but almost $10 for what is basically equates to 6"-8" sandwich at other sandwich places (subway, quiznos, or firehouse subs), drink, chips, and a cookie/apple is a little pricey.
so in conclusion, if your looking for something light, non-franchise, with its unique spin on baking & sandwiches... be sure to check it out. but if your looking for a filling cheap sandwich, might check out one of the other places with the cheap combo's and leave this one as the occasional stop when you have time to savor their hard work... 8.5/10

you're my boy, blue.. order the pesto azul or grilled indigo if you want a sandwich. blue baker can be hit or miss depending on what you order. i don't really like their soups. thisplaceis also kind of overpriced for what you get. if you really want your money's worth, paint yourself blue from head to toe and eat for free.

overpriced.. food's decent, nothing overwhelming. pizza and sandwiches in a college town are plentiful, and thisplaceis overpriced.

carb-o-rama. thisplacecannot be beat -- the sandwiches and wood-fired pizzas are equally enticing. there is no otherplacein town that makes sandwiches this tasty.
