late lunch. a friend and i are always looking for good places to eat in this area. blau certainly fits the bill perfectly. we stopped in late saturday afternoon. what a great place. taylor was our server. he was very helpful with his suggestions for food and wine. we had the serrano ham and mushroom crepe, mediterranean salad and caprese pizzette. fantastic. will definitely be returning. check out this gem for an incredible eating experience.

exquisite!. i have had the pleasure of visiting blau twice, and each experience was simply delightful. a fine dining experience in a very elegant yet casual atmosphere. everything was fresh, delicious and bursting with flavor. i went with a friend to "try it out", and to our amazement everything was exquisite, from the servers to the wine to appetizers and yes, the dessert. we were beyond thrilled as our taste buds were taken to places they didn't know existed!! our server, mariah, was extremely attentive and helpful, as well as knowledgeable and full of smiles. thank you for opening this treasure in ormond beach. i will be sure to frequent blau again and again.

best restaurant in town. we went with a group of friends on friday night and we all concluded blau is on the best restaurants in ormond beach. the food and the service were great. i highly recommend it.

dinner last week. took my wife out last week for dinner, and wanted to try something new. we had been waiting for blau to open for sometime now, and when we saw the open sign, we figured we would give it a try. from the moment we stepped in and saw the restaurant, we knew we were in for a treat. our server was spencer, and although we only went in there for a couple entrees, he talked up the menu so much (noting everything on the menu was made from scratch by the chef), we decided to try some new things. we had a some beef skewers (my favorite) and artichoke fritters to start. for our entrees i had the blau burger which was possibly the best burger i have ever eaten, and my wife had the atlantic salad with salmon. i don't know how the chef cooked this salmon but it was out of this world. we were so full after dinner, but spencer told us we had to try the tiramisu, so we chose to split it and it was so light and amazing. we will certainly be back again, a great place to have a date night!

just what we've been waiting for. this evening, my husband and i enjoyed a relaxing, delicious dinner at this fine mediterranean grill. everything was first-rate: the decor (sophisticated and inviting); the service, friendly, skilled and attentive without being intrusive (spencer, you are the best); the tapas (highly recommend the spanish meatballs and the artichoke fritters; rib-eye was fine quality and cooked medium-rare to perfection; the tiramisu was light and shot through with great flavor from a delicate zabaglione). mark is an inventive, talented chef, and we appreciated his coming to our table to make sure our meal was to our liking. the menu is varied but not overdone: it offers tapas, salads, entrees and desserts -- all prepared fresh and simply-but-beautifully presented. the wine and beer offerings pair perfectly with the chef's tasty creations.

a great, much-needed addition to the ormond beach area. if our experience is an indicator of things to come, blau will become a favorite with locals and tourists alike.
