very tasty!. i was pleasantly surprised by the size of the portion of the lunch special. i got the same amount of noodles and tofu that i would have likely spent two dollars more on at another restaurant and the meal also included two spring rolls(salad and soup were other options). this being my first time at black thai, i aired on the side of safety and opted out of hot and just went with medium; it was spicy and flavourful.
my one issue arose with the eggs. being vegan, i asked them to leave them out. i should have checked the food before leaving with my (nice and heavy) to-go box. being almost as opposed to wastefulness as i am to cruelty, i chose to pick the egg out (i couldn't be bothered to drive back either).
i will almost certainly be back to blackthaifor more padthaiand to try their other food, and i'll be more cautious towards the ingredients. overall, a very pleasant experience.
