new owners june 2017. the pad thai and drunken noodle were awesome!!! service was quick. everything homemade and you can really tell. definitely coming back!

i am heartbroken, so excited to eat there but now they have changed hands and my pineapple shrimp fried rice was awful:-( shrimp so mushy i wouldn't eat it, chicken so over cooked couldn't eat it, and no peanut sauce to go with fresh spring rolls & no shrimp in them anymore:-( as for my family & me we are searching for another thai restaurant very sad to say. just to give them a chance we ordered pick up but live only 10 minutes away:-( i'm heartbroken!!!

great for vegan and vegetarian people, i enjoyed the #1 from the vegetarian page of menu. i did burn my mouth since my food was severed so hot and the dining room was not crowded.

the crispy duck was amazing. didn't even need the rice, it was superb. tom had the drunken noodle crispy duck and loved it. dominique was the sweetest server. we will be back!

thumbs up! black thai is a gem in myrtle beach. server was great and extremely attentive. went on valentines day and was given a cupcake treat to share with my sweetie (major points...). recommendation: grouper in pineapple curry-a for presentation as well as for taste.

great choice for something different in mb!. my husband and i were looking for something a little different from the myriad seafood buffets, etc. at myrtle beach for a date night while here on vacation. this place was great. the food was excellent. my husband even liked it and he is very picky about food. service was also excellent. will definitely be visiting black thai again on our next stay in mb!

spring rolls are crispy and not greasy.
i had the drunken noodle at heat level 4 of 5. most excellent!!! just the right amount of spice. if i lived in the area this would be a favorite place for me. if you like thai, give black thai a try.

update- we are back the following year on vacation, and back at the black thai. got a sampler appetizer that was awesome. trying the heat level of 5 this time.

this place does not offer gluten free options. the food is great but be prepared.

would come back to myrtle beach for black thai. my wife and i eat thai food all the time, and this is by far the best we've ever had. friendly staff, excellent food, and when you order spicy, they don't tone it down just because you're american. we want to come back to myrtle beach just to come to this restaurant!

had lunch here after seeing the chili grouper on urban spoon and it was perfect! bf had the fried rice. also perfect. friendly service and fantastic food - our new favorite place!

i have eaten here at least 10 or more times on business since september 2013, it is incredible. this past visit i had the spicy drunken noodle with crispy duck and heaven greeted me at the table!! try it, i promise great things!!!
