bistro c beachside restaurant & bar

ticks all the boxes. location , service , child friendly, good food, all adds up to a good experience. there are not too many places in hasting street with this location, and while the food is not 5 star the service and location balance it all out and you walk away satisfied. you still get a $10 breakfast on the beach, awsome.

not bad, service ok and the meal came fast enough

disappointed. looking forward to going back to bistro c ended in a disappointment. had the special whole snapper with nasi goring. the rice was boring no flavour the fish was average and again no flavour . my partner had the lamb dish didn't finish it asked for chilli and soya twice didn't get it only thing was good chips but don't like paying $200 for a plate of good chips

this is a great spot on the main drag in noosa. views right onto the beach make it a special occasion restaurant. we celebrated our great aunt's 95th birthday. the bread is obviously house made, although the roasted garlic with the olive oil was perhaps a little over done. fresh oysters were spot on with a little wedge of lemon and dressing on the side. mains of pork belly and barramundi/scallops were interesting and delicious. the fish with pureed carrot and the pork with celeriac puree, jus and salsa verde. priced at the high end / fine dining level, but the views and food are worth it. great for a special occasion.

would highly recommend bistro c. great service and friendly staff. spanish baked eggs my personal favourite but a great menu which also caters well for children. thoroughly r joyed my breakfast.

we decided to go to bistro c but didn't have a reservation the wait staff were happy for us to drink and eat at the bar. we enjoyed a few cocktails and then were moved into the main restaurant once a table was free. i recommend booking so that you get a table as it is a popular restaurant both the bar and restaurant fill up quickly. 

drinks menu was extensive and cocktails were reasonably price and very delicious. 

food was amazing we tried a selection of dishes and couldn't fault any of them. 

great atmosphere, decor suits the location.
all wait staff were friendly and helpful

will definitely return when in noosa next.

i'm on struggle street summarising our special occasion lunch experience here. it was mostly suboptimal...but i'd still consider returning because the food itself was outstanding. and the scenic beachside possie nearly offset the issues we had.

the good: our meals were spanner crab & jalapeño tostada; lemon thyme grilled chicken thigh fillet; fraser isle spaghettini; and spanish seafood pan. we all enjoyed these immensely. our bff found the balance of her tostada a bit off-kilter, with the delicate spanner crab overwhelmed by the other components. still loved it though. one small criticism out of 4 dishes is a good strike rate.

the bad: seriously the service was awful. we adored the cocktails but waiting at least 20 minutes for each round of them when there's soooo many bar staff is bullshit. similar (if not longer) wait for a single beer: which was handed over without a glass, was the wrong beer and which we were still weirdly expected to accept. after a few other glitches along the way, we actually called bs on the whole service situation & the lady owner(?) seemed receptive & promised our local friends a voucher for free cocktails.....a fair outcome.

there were a number of large functions in the dining room at the same time as us. fabulous! celebrate away! but the general ambience suffered. i literally couldn't hear myself think over the echoey din.

the ugly: bleeding eardrums aside, we sat through the clumsy service to wait for dessert but it wasn't offered. no sweets for you! coolio, there's plenty of other places on hastings st with less be-dazzlers & daytime rhinestones.

had the service been on par with the meals, this would be a much higher score. disappointing.

the service was fantastic with a very attentive waiter and friendly. the food was very good. shared the spaghetti marinara as an entree followed by some mains to share. shared salmon, confit duck leg and the rib eye. all were really good. duck had asian salad, salmon was on a corn salsa and steak on a creamy mash. recommend here for dinner. accomodating for children although restaurant is on the fine dining side. kids menu is good with mocktails for them as well.

food was very good, service was great overall great dinning experience.
only thing to keep in mind is that it was quit noisy so if your looking for a romantic night out for 2, may not suit.

great food, terrible waiter.. a picture perfect day in noosa, food and wine festival weekend, let's try bistro c for lunch. we were given an incredible table, seated by a professional and friendly waitperson. so far, so good. unfortunately the male waiter that took over our table was surly and arrogant. he was efficient but sarcastic, and even a little offensive. however the food was cooked to perfection and delivered with a smile by a lovely young girl. will return but hopefully never see this waiter again.

dined here tonight. busy and well located on the beach. staff appear overworked and had to ask waiters to take orders as we seemed to be ignored. food tasty enough but not everyone wants to eat dishes with 10 cloves of garlic or over oily food. our main fish dish was a portuguese style stew. it was literally swimming in oil. also hard to see what was small pieces of fish or garlic.
our friends seem to like this place but in my opinion the dishes need to change so there is less garlic and oil.

nice breakfast but perhaps slightly too efficient service. nice and quick taking orders and delivering meal but plate taken away moment utensils put down, hadn't even used the serviette yet - yikes. can't be in that much of a hurry :)

i absolutely love this place - such great food and coffee, amazing view and really accommodating with kids. will always visit when up at noosa! yum!

ate there several years ago and enjoyed the night, but this time when we visited place has changed, very hectic and noisey not the atmosphere to enjoy a nice meal. we asked to move to a quieter table but they are overbooking the place. left and went up the road to seasons, so much better with pleasant atmosphere and service

beautifully arranged, modern meals. although the coffee doesn't match the standard of the food, bistro c is perfect for breakfast overlooking the beach.
