one of my favourite restraurant in ludhiana,food quality is simply best.pan fried noodles with schezwan sauce is my favourite,simple ambience,greenery,peacefulplaceto sit.

a cool ambiance with a very inviting nature, it was pleasant to go on a lunch date. we ordered lemon & sesame chicken cooked well. very few places can pull of lemon with sesame seeds, the blend was mouth watering.  the chicken was fried right in  cajun chicken salad. to finish it off with polo arrabbita, it was slightly on a spicier side. definitely will recommend this and a goodplaceto go in ludhiana.

depending on your preference you can order it in veg/non-veg and either in white/red sauce.

located at an unusual place, bistro 226 may not get one's attention immediately but lemme tell you, a single visit will make you a fan!
bistro 226 has a perfect combination of a very hospitable staff and an exotic ambience that makes you feel you're in one of the shacks at a beach!
it feels like it's an escapade from the monotonous life!
i have tried, as obvious, a 'pakka' non vegetarian would, their rajasthani laal maas which is mutton marinated with yoghurt and chilies and cooked with onions, tomatoes and cloves.
i had this with my usual garlic naan which is my preferable bread with meat. 🍖
for desserts i had ordered tiramisu which was unavailable so i opted for baklava
to be honest, it was too much even for 2 people after the mutton 🙈. it was a little too sweet except that it was well prepared.
all in all, bistro 226 is a greatplaceto hangout! recommended.

bistro 226 is one of the oldest cafes in ludhiana. we visited theplacefor lunch. much to our surprise, theplaceis done nicely in line with the new cafes (ok, might be slightly less fancy yet comforting). so interiors-wise and vibe-wise, full marks.

we ordered a crackling rice soup, a virgin cosmopolitan, green day pizza and their most popular chimichanga.

soup was liked by all, and crackling rice imparted a good texture to soup than regular noodles/choupsey.

i liked the virgin cosmopolitan drink which had optimal sugar and had good flavors of juices.

the pizza/chimichanga were at best average. 700 for a pizza means that it should be able to "wow" you, but it was far from that. although it had sufficient toppings, yet it lacked in any flavor. and chimichanga was served with rolls and rice. rolls were a little too crisp to be eaten with fork and personally, i found them overdone on chili.

the price for each dish is not justified about their taste. although, the saving grace was customer service and the overall vibe of the place. suitable for both family and a friendly catch-up.

so far , the onlyplaceis liked in ludhiana. food is great! ambience is perfect according to the place. not quite costly. rooftop is perfect for chilly weather. loved the whole experience. ❤️❤️

bistro 226 is undoubtedly one of the finest restaurants in ludhiana. every item of thisplaceis delicious. so much variety of different cuisines to choose from and every cuisine is equally mouth watering & delicious. ambience is also one of the best in the city. weather you want to sit inside or with street view or the beautiful open sitting full of plants & flowers. whatever suits your mood. just love this place. the usp of thisplaceis that they never compromise with their quality & taste with is stagnant from so many years. i hope it will remain like this. lots of favourites from this place. some of them are nacho & beans, hummus pita, pasta, khao soi & tom yum soup, hot chocolate, chimichanga, etc. & chicken snacks.

one of my most favourite places in town. honestly, if there’s aplacein ludhiana where i can vouch for the food, ambience and service. it’s this. always a pleasure to visit. ✨
