bistro 226

we visited bistro 226 for dinner on a saturday evening. had chicken steak madagascar and thai green fish curry. both the dishes were very tasty. 5/5.
for desserts, we ordered salted caramel orange pie and loved it.
ambience and service are good too. overall, had a great experience.

its so imbarasing my fist visit chimichanga was full off oil cant hold in my hand and bruchetta tomato was stink lot of garlic my mouth full off garlic and bread was sogy and they charge for exta dip it was really a horabel.

one of my favourite restraurant in ludhiana,food quality is simply best.pan fried noodles with schezwan sauce is my favourite,simple ambience,greenery,peaceful place to sit.

a cool ambiance with a very inviting nature, it was pleasant to go on a lunch date. we ordered lemon & sesame chicken cooked well. very few places can pull of lemon with sesame seeds, the blend was mouth watering.  the chicken was fried right in  cajun chicken salad. to finish it off with polo arrabbita, it was slightly on a spicier side. definitely will recommend this and a good place to go in ludhiana.

polo arrabita: chicken 🍗 tossed in spicy 🌶 tomato 🍅 sauce.
depending on your preference you can order it in veg/non-veg and either in white/red sauce.
a must try at this place if you're a pasta lover.!

this place has a amazing vibe and nice seating.
the food quality and food quantity of this place is very good

no one expected the bistro to be back so soon post the sad incident of it catching fire. but the restaurant is back with a roaring spirit. very good customer service, valet parking, terrace sitting. will be an absolute delight to catch up with friends over drinks during the winter months here.

disappointed.. after all this time of a good food and dining experience, i was disappointed with bistro in all aspects this time. i dnt knw if there is a change in management or what.. but for the first time, i donot recommend people to go here.

located at an unusual place, bistro 226 may not get one's attention immediately but lemme tell you, a single visit will make you a fan!
bistro 226 has a perfect combination of a very hospitable staff and an exotic ambience that makes you feel you're in one of the shacks at a beach!
it feels like it's an escapade from the monotonous life!
i have tried, as obvious, a 'pakka' non vegetarian would, their rajasthani laal maas which is mutton marinated with yoghurt and chilies and cooked with onions, tomatoes and cloves.
i had this with my usual garlic naan which is my preferable bread with meat. 🍖
for desserts i had ordered tiramisu which was unavailable so i opted for baklava
to be honest, it was too much even for 2 people after the mutton 🙈. it was a little too sweet except that it was well prepared.
all in all, bistro 226 is a great place to hangout! recommended.

a pleasent experience! the moment you enter this restaurant, what actually steals the show is the excellent ambience. a silent and aromatic atmosphere which actually is quite a rare thing to see in ludhiana's restaurants.
i don't remember the names of all the dishes that i have had during all my visits; actually you need to check the ingredients mentioned under the dish name and then order accordingly if you're also not very familiar with the italian cuisine.
coming to food. it serves really outstanding food. especially the dishes based on rice. my personal favorite is their rissotto, sheer brilliance. then their veg. lasagna is probably the best in the town. then their warm salad and cantonese fried and crispy noodles are some of the best starters you can have.
now what's actually best about 226 is that not just italian but their indian cuisine too is a blast. have some achari paneer tikka for an indian starter. then their paneer fajitas and paneer butter masala for main course are extraordinary.
overall, this is literally a 5 on 5 restaurant for me. strongly recommended.
