really good and fresh but a bit expensive. the dressing makes this salad.

on the weekends, the lines start forming around 10am, so if you sleep late, expect a wait.

very comfortable cute environment! the food was great and i would love to eat here again. we went during sunday brunch and the line was out the door, worth the wait though. the staff were fast and very polite.

definitely my favorite breakfast spot in athens. they offer at least 2 gourmet, local coffees every day and they have the freshest bakery in the city. my wife and i usually get the a la carte with french toast, a legendary biscuit with local made jam, and some fresh protein! they also offer amazing quiche that is made fresh daily and comes in many varities. i can't recommend this place enough!

i've been coming to big city bread since i was a kid and the uniqueness of the atmosphere and setup of the restaurant itself is still enough to make me want to come back regularly. it's just such a pleasant place to be. the food has always been mostly great for me. not perfect, but very very good. i'd recommend to anyone for brunch or a very romantic date night.

the café is spacious with plenty of booths and tables to choose from. they have a good selection on the menu and i quickly settled on the rainbow trout sandwich. melanie chose the grilled cheese on wheat with tomato. i got a bag of sea salt & vinegar chips while melanie went with the french fries.

the food hit the spot and tasted delicious. the rainbow trout was done perfectly. the tomatoes on both my sandwich and melanie’s grilled cheese, were hearty, fresh and tasted great. melanie thought the fries were the best ever!

when in athens, we suggest you venture off the beaten path and find your way to big city bread cafe! guten appetit!

this restaurant continues to be one of my favorite breakfast spots in athens. on weekends there is almost always a line, but the wait is well worth it. whether you have the continental breakfast (where you choose three items, definitely get the salmon),one of their many omelets or the eggs benedict, you will be happy with your selection. also they have cheerwine in a glass bottle.

amazing biscuits! i oreded a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. both are tied for best biscuit i've ever put in my mouth.

can't cook an egg.. every fried egg (over medium and hard) i have ever ordered here has had uncooked whites. so careless! burnt biscuits are common. snooty wait staff. hate that they don't do free coffee refills, but have no system for paying for a refill other than waiting in a god awful, long line all over again. free refills people... you over charge so much that this should be a given! so overrated!

the worst service in athens. food was so-so at best. the service and wait were outrageous. had to wait 35 minutes for food we had ordered to go. (what's the point of ordering food to go if you have to wait in a crazy line?) when we finally got to pay for our order, the cashier was downright rude and disrespectful, telling us we should have known to cut in line, despite there being no sign and no other employees to ask. please, make a sign. please, hire employees who are friendly and courteous, maybe even helpful, instead of just judgmental.

first time here, and last time here.

great brunch. when we arrived the chalkboard out front said 40 wait, it was worth it. i had the monsieur and my wife had the french toast we were both very pleased with our meals and found the staff to be very friendly.
