big burger spot

this place has the best burgers ever! it's a dive -- not fancy but the food is shockingly good. i like their burgers and brioche buns better than hops. the pimiento cheese is delicious and made from scratch. the spinach salad is reallygoodand large enough for two people to split. the battleground location has a cute outdoor area that is dog friendly and features a mural of customer's dogs. so cute! i wish both locations had an outdoor section/dog spot.

notgoodanymore! once was....... my family has eaten big burger spot many times in the past and have always enjoyed our meal until today. i ordered the same thing i always do (the carolina with no onions and extra cheese). i was very disappointed with my cheeseburger today! there was barely any chili and that is no over exaggeration. i couldn't believe it, i could barely even detect it on there. also my extra cheese was barely there as well. it was a lot of mustard and meat! the problem with restaurants that become very popular is that they get too busy and can't keep up with the quality that they have had in the past. i believe that is what has happened here. apparently we aren't the only ones that are unhappy. my husband said that while in line other people were complaining and one lady was giving him other suggestions that she liked to replace the big burger spot. what a shame, because we really used to enjoy the food!

horrible!!!!. i kept hearing how great this place is so i finally decided to give it a try. i love agoodburger joint but this was absolutely horrible. the burger tastes tainted and old and the cheese was like glue. way too much mustard and may, which can be scrapped off if the burger is decent. i've honestlt had better burgers at mcdonalds and that's saying a lot.

great burger joint, vegetarian friendly. my friend and i tried them for the first time. we got their "almost" size, which is the smaller size, but is about right for a regular burger. the angus beef is about on par with 'five guys', but they put it on a potato bun which took it over the top. they also offer two different homemade vegetarian patties, either black bean or chick pea. we went with the chick pea and chose the mushroom swiss topping. the patty itself has agoodsavory flavor and it paired very well with the toppings. we also ordered their cheese fries. be warned, the menu lists them as covered in melted aged cheddar, but it's a cheddar sauce. they switched it out for shredded cheddar after we spoke up, but if, like me, you can't stand the mucus-like texture of cheese sauce, make sure to specify you want the shredded cheddar or you'll be in for an unpleasant surprise. the pricing seemed a little high until we saw the portions, as the large cheddar fry is 6.99, but what you get could easily be shared between four or five people. don't let the fact that it's attached to a gas station convenience store scare you off, this place is a great find and we will be back.

didn't get what i ordered. i will admit the burger wasgoodthis place was recommended by a co-worker. unfortunately i never got the garlic pesto fries i had ordered. i was told someone would bring them out and they never did. they did refund the money since i had no more time to wait. i guess they have a hard time multi tasking and they weren't even that busy.
