big bam's burgers

great littleburgerplace. not flashy, just good food. loved the onion rings, nice and crunchy not greasy. try the 1929 burger. friendly staff and fast service.

from the outside, this place looks like trash.  from the inside, this place looks like trash.the dollar tree decor was amusing, until it became apparent that the cheap extended into their food and condiments.  

the layout is typical of walk-in, order, sit.  the food is all sysco garbage.  unfortunately for the community, this is the bestburgerin the city.  at my fattest, i could jump a higher bar.

i ordered the hot chick.... sounded good, but was very rubbery. i would have better enjoyed eating the sandwich with only bread and cancun sauce. wife ordered the en feugo, the beef portion was dry and not particularly tasty, but the rest of theburgerwas good. she gave my hot chick a try and couldn't make it past the first bite. also ordered a children'sburger(again dry and bland) along with some chicken nuggets. nuggets were run of the mill from the frozen section at the grocery. probably the best tasting item we ordered. very disappointed spending $30 on the meal we received. we were hoping to find a greatburgerjoint closer to home.

great burger, friendly staff, and quick service. i could eat the cajon sauce from the ladder 49burgeron everything! just finished myburgerand can't wait to go again.

i want to like this place as it's close to my house and i like to support small business. but, this restaurant kind of needs an update. the floor never looks clean and when we were there water was dripping from a ceiling pipe. normally i'd overlook this if the food was terrific, but i just don't think it is. i'm still on a quest for a greatburgerthat isn't made by 5 guys.

a top notchburgerwith first rate service. i ordered the "ladder 49" bacon cheeseburger ($5.59) with tots and a drink ($2.89) at the counter. my order was delivered to my table within eight minutes. theburgerpatty was thick and juicy, the toppings were fresh and delicious, and the tots were very tasty. the restaurant was spotless (with pleasant music playing), and the service was spectacular. the lady at the counter was cheerful, friendly, and efficient. i was greeted when i entered, checked on while i ate, and thanked when i left. it was a good experience.

bam's was busy when i was there. the dining room was almost full and a steady stream of customers came in to do takeout. i discovered why when i got my order. theburgerwas thick and juicy, the tater tots were crunchy and flavorful. i've added 'back to bam's" to my to do list.

not just anotherburgerjoint!. this is worth the drive. i got the ladder 49 burger, which was excellent, but what really sets this place apart are their onion rings. they were perfectly done, crispy and substantial. best of all, they remained one piece. there's nothing i hate more than onion rings that fall apart. all of their burgers looked good, and if you like spicy, big bam's can accommodate you. since you can't go wrong with their burgers, i'll stick to hawking the onion rings. you owe it to yourself to give them a shot!

one good burger. this was one good burger. the patty itself had simple flavors, but it was good. salt, pepper, and dead cow. mmmmm! added benefits were the toppings. the cream cheese added a nice creamyness to the burger, and the fried jalepenos were actually slices of jalepenos that are battered and fried. i could have ordered a side of just those. excellent. the iceberg lettuce was fresh and crispy cool. the "fuego" sauce really topped it off. combine all those flavors together and it made for a really goodburgerexperience.
the tots were well executed, but nothing unique. the fried pickles were good, but not great. they were a little greasy and didn't have a lot of flavor. they were still good though.

hits the spot. you can't judge a restaurant by its exterior. sure it looks a little "hole in the wallish" on the outside, but truly do not let this fool you. the food is really delicous and the atmosphere on the inside is not the same as the plain jane outside.

the dining area is clean, the counters are clean, and when there are no customers the person at the counter is cleaning.

today,i stopped in for the first time and ordered a ladder 49 with rings. i was thoughroughly impressed by the non-flattened juicyburgerthat i got. my cheese was nice and melted and the cancun sauce was perfectly spicy. my rings were hot, but not to hot to the point of not being able to eat them all in the car on my drive back to work.

i like the simple menu. it has multiple types of burgers, chicken sandwiches, sides and salads. it also has a great children's menu that even a picky kid could find something with. and if it is not on the menu, just ask, they might just make it for you.

i look forward to eating here more.
