great coffee and wonderful selection of donuts. iced coffee too.
lunch was good. had good tuna salad andbaconlettuce tomato sandwich.
friendly servers.

sooooo good!. went based on urbanspoon reviews, and they were right.

bright and clean with ample parking. a lovely porch with tables and dog friendly. the tables away from the door so those who are anxious about animals, have no fear,.

it's at the end of a residential street with a fenced lot to handle the overflow from the few spaces in front.

i ordered the strata as i'd never had strata before, a maplebacondoughnut and a cup of their "best". they had several varieties of coffee so deferred to their judgement. it was a good choice. i should have written down what it was, but it was south african, bold and wonderful.

the strata, i'm sure good if you like them, lots of cheese! not something i'd personally get again but i'm sure as stratas go it was great. the portion was good-sized, enough you could share if you also had doughnuts! i'm told they often run out of the strata by 9:30 so go early if you want some.

i saved the single doughnut for dessert. it was served in a paper lined metal basket. something liek you might see at cru or other upscale restaurant. it deserved the elegance.

while watching more doughnuts being made i carefully broke into my treat. it was soft and heavenly. the dough was delicately sweet and perfect on it's own, but topped with the maple glaze that was not overly sweet and the thick pieces of wisconsin apple smokedbaconthat was so smokey i could smell it. bliss. absolute bliss.

the doughnut and coffee are so good they more than make up for the big screen tv that only shows self-serving messages. note to c. david, we're already in your shop! you don't have to sell us now, just keep us. their website could use some help but another bite of that doughnut forgives all.

on the front of the flipcard "menu" on the tables and counter is a message from the owner who guarantees you'll; be satisfied. having the privilidge of chatting with him while i ate, i have no doubt he would absolutely honor that promise. he takes pride in what he sells,

i was astounded when i was offered a cup of coffee to go. without hesitation i will go back. soon. for many many doughnuts!

everything is better with bacon!. i tried the maple glazed donuts with bacon. it sounds like a gimmick food but the saltiness of thebaconworks perfectly against the sweetness of the maple to create a taste sensation in your mouth. i can't wait to go back and try something else.

new favorite coffee house. now i can see why bennetts is so popular. i only recently heard about it, and stopped in today to try it out. i think i have a new favorite coffee shop....wish i would've known a while ago how close it was.
the place doesn't look like much from the outside. in fact driving through the hidden little neighborhood it's located in, you'd probably miss it. the inside however is brightly colored, clean, and modern. there's a few tables, a corner booth, and a coffee bar for seating inside; as well as a few tables outside on the small deck. we stopped in just a bit before closing on a sunday, and it wasn't crowded at all like i hear it is most mornings. there were still fresh donuts and hot coffee to be had even though it was close to closing time. the dark columbian was excellent, just what i look for in a coffee. and while the whole family tried different donuts, i think my maplebacondonut was the best by far ( i admit, hearing bennetts made maplebacondonuts was part of the reason i wanted to go try it out :) our server was a young guy who was very friendly and answered all our questions about the place.
now that i've found bennett's i'll definitely be going back for more.
