way overpriced! the chef was a funny guy but one thing happened! nobody can hear anybody in this place! i ordered teriyaki chicken and i got teriyaki steak and i also requested no mushrooms or shrimp and what do i get mushrooms and shrimp!!! was expecting to pay 22.00 and instead i pay 40.00!! won't ever go back!

i won't lie i like it but u get ripped off on the tips we had to pay tips two times somehow... foods ok but not the worse. a lil to noise staff needs to be a little more friendly also went for my sisters birthday and after we paid we got our cheer that's never happened before kinda felt wrong but it is a nice place to impress someone or people.

not sure who listed this in the $10-15 range. my family of 4 cannot walk out the door without dropping $150 minimum. good food but the schtick wears thin half-way through your 2nd visit.

this one could have been a "meh". it's benihana. same as every benihana in the nation. overpriced. unfriendly staff. stupid process & annoying rules. but the food is decent enough, the fried rice is delicious. the "show" is fun i guess - but always the same. usually some white or hispanic person pretending to be japanese (we have even had a hispanic chef who spoke to us in engrish like he just got off the plane from japan). management is crappy and doesn't care about customers or their employees. so with all that - i really only recommend it for some sort of special event where you want to do hibache...

employee review.... the company on a nationwide basis just implemented a new tip system. the sushi chefs and the entire kitchen staff no longer recieves tips, or very little. our incomes have been cut in half literally. the company was nice enough to give us 3 days notice.... (joke) but serious. most of the valuable employees will have no choice but to quit and seek alternative employment. the bus boys will get more tip than any of those affected. wow!
folks don't waste your money here, the company is a giant shark and cares nothing for the employees, many whom have worked here over 20yrs, these were dedicated and caring people. we don't deserve this treatment.
pass on this info freely because it's true.

my favorite restaurant. it's entertaining and the food is spectacular. my steak is always cooked perfectly to my order.
the chefs could use some new tricks. every year i come here in my birthday and it's always the same show, but it makes my mouth water just thinking about the food.

special occasions. this is the place for any special occasion you want to share with a group. the salad dressing is wonderful! i try to go there at least once a year. (not the thing a restaurant owner wants to hear but when you work in this industry it's hard to get away and there are soooo many places to try)

my husband and i wait here for lunch on a thursday, we didn't have any reservations are you got a seat right away. the chef was hilarious and was really interacted with the guest. we only spent 30 dollars including an 8 dollar tip.

fun atmosphere, great service and food. we went to the bar for a little while and noshed on some sushi before the big show at benihana as part of our group was running behind. i hadn't been to a benihana in a while and it was as fun as i remembered. nice show with the chef and great flavors. had a nice cocktail before dinner that had some tea in it and beer with my steak.... i'd go back

we've been going here for years, and will continue to, but i have some new issues with the price. it's always been spendy, but my meal last year at dinner time was $13, it's now $19.. my meal at lunchtime is $9!! and that's with the fried rice!! i'll only be having dinner on my birthday, since they send me a free $37 meal voucher, other than that lunch is where it's at!

flashy, but w/ substance..... benihana, when taken for what it is, is a good restaurant. they are as much show as dinner, but the food is consistent and well prepared. the calamari steak is my favorite and is always cooked nicely. the sushi is questionable at times, but sticking to the dinner or lunch menu will always lead you to success.

it's never my birthday though!

where's the flavor?. it was nice to go to with a group to socialize and eat. the company and the mood was engaging and the teppan chef was fun. the teriyaki steak was bland. the fried rice was boring. i could smell the grease on my clothes the rest of the afternoon which reminded me of the poor food. not going back.
