comfortable and real.. thank goodness for the belmont. old school wood paneling, low ceilings, full bar, soup of the day, and a proper reuben sandwich. a real reuben...with russian dressing, not that 1000 island ripoff. try one. and the soup of the day selections are winners, no kidding. the shrimp bisque is bowl scraping good. local place with local folks talking about local things. great service from personable people. they even make an out-of-towner feel at home. i grew up in restaurants like this, glad to see they're still some left out there. so order up, grab a cool drink and tell the chain restaurants to suck it. parking in the rear.
