bellinis

i made a reservation in advance for my party of 6 to dine at bellini's to celebrate my birthday and the service and food was horrible. i get there, and immediately can tell that the manager and waitress both have an attitude. there was no welcome to bellini's greeting or anything. they didnt have any tables prepared to accomidate us, our waittress didnt introduce herself to us once we did sit down, she was very distant almost non existant, then she comes in after we order drinks at 7:30 and tells us that our reservation was at 6:45 and therestaurantcloses at 9. im guessing she was saying that because she wanted us to hurry up order, eat and leave. then a drink spilled, she brought napkins and acted as if it was the end of the world, asking us what happened??? really? and then let my guests clean up the mess while she just stood there. then the food comes out and it tastes like a microwaved tv dinner version of chicken fettucine alfredo. it was so bland, no flavor/seasoning whatsoever. and way overpriced. then the waittress brings us the ticket booklets, drops them in the middle of the table for us to figure out amongst ourselves who had what, (so rude) and of course they were messed up so she comes in and collects them with an attitude, to go correct them. when she brings them back, we all notice that an 18% gratuity has been added to each of our tickets.... for 6 people. now, im fine with that if we had a good dining/service experience but it was my birthday and not once did she even ask if everything was okay, did we need anything else, thank you for dining with us, or happy birthday. nothing! so one of my guests asked the waittress if there was a problem? and the waittress proceeded to argue with my guests who spoke up about the behavior that she was displaying. so i called the manager/owner over and the owner defended the waittresses poor service and behavior by saying, sometimes servers have bad days and personal problems, and wear those emotions on their faces while at work but that she was sorry. this completely ruined my birthday and i had to appoligize to my guests because they where upset. i wanted to go to bellinis because the patio and view of the water is very nice, but i will never eat here again. thee worst service and food, i have ever had.

bellini's cannot seem to get it right, ever. at all. i stopped in with one other person around 4:30 on a thursday and while therestaurantwas completely empty, we couldn't get seated to save our life. we ended up leaving and going across the street to the waterford's new restaurant, ember, where we got seated quickly and were treated like customers should be. it's a shame bellini's service is severely lacking because the location and atmosphere is pretty great.

worst service! good food! don't waste your time or money, because owners don't care about the customers experience.. i can barely give thisrestauranta single star. the single star was for the food, which was excellent and i feel empathy for the chef who did an excellent job. the service delivery was without a doubt the worst i have ever experienced....to the point we had to smirk to keep from getting angry. the evening of january 24, i am embarrassed and humiliated that i planned a family gathering at bellini's restaurant. we were celebrating my niece's 21st birthday, had family from dallas, tulsa and okc. the service was horrendous, to the point the managers apologized numerous times. the managers admitted our server had no training and should have never been on the floor without someone guiding and teaching him.
- pre-dinner cocktails trickled out slowly, one at a time so we waited, melting/watered down until all were served before toasting the birthday girl.
- ordered an appetizer for the table, specifically requesting to be served before the entrees; however it was brought out after several of the entrees were served, but several entrees were still not served, so we turned the appetizer away.
- salads were never served until we asked about them after we received some of our entrees and ended up with only two out of four salads were delivered.
- no wine list offered although we were counting on having a couple of nice bottles of wine with dinner.
- one niece never received her entree until end of meal, so we all shared our meal with her, so that we could go ahead and eat.
- no one bused our table of empty glasses until requested. and then only had water with our meal due to not having the opportunity to order wine.
- pizza entrees were served one on a pan, one on a plate, whatever they seemed to have handy.

i have no idea why thisrestaurantcan expect to have future success. i have traveled the world and obviously eaten in many restaurants and without a doubt this felt like an "okie" joke, which as an "okie" myself makes it that much more embarrassing.
even after two management staff acknowledged the total cluster and were extremely apologetic we were not offered any type of reprieve with the bill.
i put it all back on the owners for this reason:
my only request when we received our bill, was to at least knock off the 'single' drinks we ordered, knowing that it cost therestaurantvery little for the drinks, knowing their margins on a small amount of alcohol were high.
shockingly, the owners said no. the manager admitted he was appalled that there was not reprieve or acknowledgement. to me that translates to total arrogance by the owners.
when even the management is embarrassed, you realize they have some big problems.
i cannot believe i put my family through this debacle. we tried to be very reasonable, calm and nice.

all i can say is social media is powerful and i will not hesitate to share our experience and let people know the arrogance of the owners 'policy'. norestaurantis perfect, but one would expect them to own their mistakes and do they 'right thing' for the customer.
do not risk wasting your time and money at bellini's restaurant. this night was an embarrassing debacle for therestaurantand for me planning a family gathering.

the buthion's while touting their experience, appear to be amateurs on the service side of restaurants. wake up and take some service lessons from hal smith's training program and restaurants. amazing anyrestaurantcould be this bad and not own it.
bottom line, don't risk your time and money at bellini's.

bad food, bad service. the only food that was good was the blueberry muffins which were one per person. the muffins were brought right after we ordered and there was no other bread served. i ordered the margherita frittata which should have had roasted roma tomatoes, fresh basil, and fresh mozzarella. it was loaded with onions and had no tomatoes and it was rubbery. the second person at my table had the the eggs benedict. one of her eggs had no yok. the third person had the deal which was 2 eggs any style with bacon and sausage. he had to ask for toast and it did not arrive until after he had given up and eaten the eggs. the potatoes on all of our plates were deep fried in stale oil and were greasy.

service was also bad. our waiter looked like he was pained to serve us. some tables waited over an hour for food. when they asked about their food they were told therestaurantwas busy and they would get their food when they got it.

hahahahahaha what a joke, absolute worstrestauranti've ever been to. unless.your name is cindy cleary absoluteor aubrey mcclendon, don't go!

has changed for the worse. i went here with several colleagues for lunch. therestaurantwas less than half full and it took an hour and ten minutes for 8 meals to come out. the alfredo sauce was no longer good and some colleagues had to get food to go because of meetings. the med fett used to be so amazing. disappointing.

there isn't a better italianrestaurantin the metro area than this place, and if you get veal or steak you definitely pay for it. however, their pasta dishes are very reasonably priced for an italianrestaurantof this caliber. my only disappointed was the bread. in nice italian restaurants, i prefer breads for dipping rather than buttering. overall, this is a must eat in oklahoma.

easter brunch was a major disappointment. poor food quality and poor service equals poorrestaurantchoice.

great service !!!. i have never been to bellini's before and after talking with my future brother-in-law last week, i am glad that he did. last weekend, my fiancee and i decided to stop by bellini's for lunch. i was extremely impressed with the yourrestaurantand how friendly your service were. we loved your food and will definitely come back for more.

my hubbie took me here recently for a date night. apparently in his younger days, a "romantic" dinner at this "high-class"restaurant(through a smelly parking garage?) would render his dates helpless. whether bellini's has declined, or his taste in women has improved is not clear. my chicken was bone-dry and my caesar was watery (a first). from our table we had the equally romantic view of sports on a flatscreen, the paler parts of another couple of dining guests' legs (apparenlty stopping by on their home from a safari) or the bathrooms. as therestaurantwas half empty, i am baffled that we were not shown to a better table. a great glass of wine did salvage the date, but not the liklihood of my ever dining there again.

one of my favorites. bellini's has been nothing but consistently good since i started going over ten years ago. i've had items from every category on the menu and they are all great. i personally enjoy the pasta dishes and their fantastic selection of wines. and bellini's patio makes a phenomenal date location if the weather is right. i highly recommend thisrestaurantfor a quiet, upscale italian dining experience.

i’ve been searching for a great italianrestaurantin oklahoma city, and i’m still searching. i’m not saying bellini’s is bad, it’s actually quite good, but its not great.
