bellinis

came to bellini's from tulsa. it used to be a favorite when i lived in okc. every dish our party of 10 ordered we disliked. i was shocked. everyone switched plates and agreed the appetizers and bread were the best part. the management took 3 of the meals off the ticket, which was nice and they didn't have to. we had lobster, ravioli, chicken parmesan, otto bucco, and a seafood pasta dish. we initially were sad to learn the lasagna wasn't on the menu. probably wont be back.

stopped in for brunch today.. this being my first time to this restaurant, and luckily i hadn't read any of the previous reviews, i loved this place! the whole staff worked flawlessly together right down to the hostess knowing the specials of the day. can't say that we ordered all italian as we had pancakes with fried chicken, shrimp and crab frittata, and a cheese pizza but everything was excellent. will surely be back!

raegan, erin, and i went to bellini’s for lunch last thursday to celebrate the end of school for the year. i got fettuccine alfredo with chicken, and raegan and erin both got pizza. the pizzas were ok. my meal was far from the worst i’ve had, but it was ok at best. there was little al fredo, and it wasn’t overly flavorable or rich. the iced tea was ok, and service was pretty good. our check was $61.61. the pizza was very expensive and drove the cost up. i don’t know that the taste justified the cost. i don’t think i would refuse to go again, but i would be reluctant. we had a window view, and enjoyed seeing the ducks and geese and goslings right outside.

took my girlfriend here for our anniversary after many pleasant trips in years past. we were incredibly disappointed. first, the menu was terrible. good luck pronouncing 80% of the items. no "regular food" items to be found. the great pizzas are gone, only to be replaced by gourmet selections. our food was bland and uninspired. not to mention grossly overpriced. $56 for a meal split between two people? not including drinks? ridiculous. secondly, the service was poor. we watched as the more "affluent" looking customers were quickly served while we sat there trying to get anyone to take our drink order. i can't convey how frustrated/disappointed we were. we will certainly not be going back. if you've got a fat pocketbook and aren't too picky about, you know, the taste of your food then you might give it a shot. all others stay far far away. this is not the place you once knew.

yuck!. both my entree' and desert were undercooked. nothing like the taste of raw dough. this place is highly over-rated.

good food & service. i don't eat here often but when i do it's usually good. tonight i had the king crab legs and my husband had the ahi tuna. we both enjoyed our meals and our waiter was friendly. my beverage was always full and the bread was hot.

it is very unfortunate how downhill the dining experience has gone at bellini's. i came for a sunday brunch with a large group (for which we reserved the patio) but was told it was "too wet" to be seated out there. instead we were put into a room that was made to only seat about 8 people comfortably; there was about 12 people and a baby in our group. from the beginning the service experience was lack-luster. i myself was not greeted nor brought water for about 10 minutes after sitting there. as more people continued to arrive the server seemed to be annoyed as if asking for drink menus or more water was bothersome. each time she came into the room she would leave before we could finish asking a question. this leads to my next issue, someone in our group wanted to place a drink order to which the server came back and said that she couldn't make it because she was underage. it really didn't make sense since there was someone else behind the bar who she claimed to be the manager making drinks. the point was that they did not want to make it, period. throughout our time there, there were constant passive-aggressive advances made (the server reaching over people/their food without permission, bring ketchup in plastic cups, someone not receiving their order, etc.). not to mention that the manager declined to speak to our party about how poor the service was. it was really unsettling how easily she dismissed our claims, as if it didn't deserve to be acknowledged that we had such a poor experience. i honestly have no positives about my experience there, even my food lacked flavor. we were brought plates with garnishes that still had the produce sticker on it, there were water marks on the silverware, and were constantly given excuses as to why we couldn't order items a certain way. i am extremely disappointed at my time wasted at bellini's and will not return, or recommend anyone to this establishment.

i made a reservation in advance for my party of 6 to dine at bellini's to celebrate my birthday and the service and food was horrible. i get there, and immediately can tell that the manager and waitress both have an attitude. there was no welcome to bellini's greeting or anything. they didnt have any tables prepared to accomidate us, our waittress didnt introduce herself to us once we did sit down, she was very distant almost non existant, then she comes in after we order drinks at 7:30 and tells us that our reservation was at 6:45 and the restaurant closes at 9. im guessing she was saying that because she wanted us to hurry up order, eat and leave. then a drink spilled, she brought napkins and acted as if it was the end of the world, asking us what happened??? really? and then let my guests clean up the mess while she just stood there. then the food comes out and it tastes like a microwaved tv dinner version of chicken fettucine alfredo. it was so bland, no flavor/seasoning whatsoever. and way overpriced. then the waittress brings us the ticket booklets, drops them in the middle of the table for us to figure out amongst ourselves who had what, (so rude) and of course they were messed up so she comes in and collects them with an attitude, to go correct them. when she brings them back, we all notice that an 18% gratuity has been added to each of our tickets.... for 6 people. now, im fine with that if we had a good dining/service experience but it was my birthday and not once did she even ask if everything was okay, did we need anything else, thank you for dining with us, or happy birthday. nothing! so one of my guests asked the waittress if there was a problem? and the waittress proceeded to argue with my guests who spoke up about the behavior that she was displaying. so i called the manager/owner over and the owner defended the waittresses poor service and behavior by saying, sometimes servers have bad days and personal problems, and wear those emotions on their faces while at work but that she was sorry. this completely ruined my birthday and i had to appoligize to my guests because they where upset. i wanted to go to bellinis because the patio and view of the water is very nice, but i will never eat here again. thee worst service and food, i have ever had.

mother's day brunch. not my idea ... i would have chosen to stay home and cook her a better meal than what we got ...

seated outside on a 96* day with 35mph wind gusts and our water came out in foam cups ... you guessed it ... twice i had a lap full of water ... oh well, it kept me cool i suppose ...

we ordered drinks which took 20 min to appear even tho they were 'stock brunch' drinks that should have been premixed ... 2 bloody marys and a glass of champaigne shouldn't take 20 min ... 20 min later the waiter figured out he might like to take our order ... all 3 were egg orders ... should take no longer than 15 min even on a huge day like this ... 45 min later the food arrived and was cold.

both the ladies at my table questioned me that shouldn't poached eggs be runny and not like hard boiled ... go figure

all in all, after washing the new shirt, and putting on sunburn lotion this was possible a c- experience ...

the waiter, altho one of the most handsome young lads in town is just not cut out for the service industry ... when he ways 'the kitchen says your order is coming right behind this one' i didn't expect another 20 min wait ...

and where was the manager(s)? not to be seen ... never came outside to check on things ... oh wait, they could read the temp and didn't want to get all sweaty and have a heat stroke ... ha ...

suffice it to say, we'll stay home and make my own oven roasted potatoes, small berry bowl and poach the eggs to the right temp and serve them hot next year ... for the $75 the kid spent, she could have gotten mom a nice gift and let me take care of a decent meal.

had a terrible experience here about a year ago but we gave it another chance. i'm so glad we did! service was back up to previous standards and the food was great. thank you for reviving this place!

it's a horrible shame. this place used to be amazing. now you're better off cooking bertoli out of your freezer. two thumbs down.

so sad. bellini's used to be a staple of good food and good wine in the okc area. i'm not sure what happened, but it's nothing like it used to be. the food is mediocre, service is absolutely terrible, and management is rude. can i get a time machine to the mid-90's so i can visit the bellini's i know and love? if you want great italian food, go to vito's.

i was able to reminisce with a few friends here after work. impeccable service, but there was something "off" about all our dishes. now, we've beem here on numerous occasions in the past and frequented this classic haunt often, but last night was just different -not bad, just "different". however, it won't prevent me from coming back.

bellini's cannot seem to get it right, ever. at all. i stopped in with one other person around 4:30 on a thursday and while the restaurant was completely empty, we couldn't get seated to save our life. we ended up leaving and going across the street to the waterford's new restaurant, ember, where we got seated quickly and were treated like customers should be. it's a shame bellini's service is severely lacking because the location and atmosphere is pretty great.

had dinner with two friends.  none of us had been to bellini's in several years so thought it would be fun to try it again.  we were there on a monday night, and although there were only three other tables occupied and two servers, service was very slow.  i asked our server about two different dishes, and she knew nothing about either one, saying that she was new and hadn't tried them.  i ordered the pasta greco, and it was so spicy that i could barely eat it (and i like spicy foods).  when the manager stopped by our table to ask how we liked our meal, i told her that my dish was too spicy. she replied that it was from the caribbean jerk seasoning but never asked if i'd like to order something less spicy.  caribbean jerk seasoning in a greek pasta dish?  that was not mentioned in the menu description and not expected in this dish.  too expensive and management clearly doesn't care if you like the food or not.  won't return.

a quaint little italian place with great atmosphere and a unique location. this place offers some of the best service in the area and a great cocktail menu with, go figure, great bellinis. i recommend sticking to the italian pasta dishes although anything in that variety of cuisine is acceptable at this restaurant. they offer a wonderful appetizer menu and this is one of the few places that serves a salad at a temperature i find endurable. i'm always pleased when i visit this place but i do find the dinner menu to be a little bit overpriced. that said this place makes up for it with quality atmosphere and service which are of great importance to me. lunch is pretty reasonably priced. if memory serves me right this place does do brunch on the weekends but i've never personally attended it.

today i went to bellini's for brunchwith my husband because wanted to try something new. well the experience was horrible! first the waitress took forever to come take our order. then they forgot a portion of my husbands meal and didn't realize it until he said something at the end. then the waitress took our card to pay the bill but took forever to return our card back to us. then my husband told me that one of the waitresses the tall slender waitress told the waitress not to wait on us! so i guess that's why we were given horrible service. and we were dressed in our sunday best! so need less to say i will not recommend this resturant to any of my friends!

i went to bellini's for brunch and the service was horrible! one of the waitress told another waitress not to wait on us and finally the other waitress waited on us. then they left off a portion of my husbands meal. so need less to say it was very unpleasant experience.
