enjoyable standarditalianfare. lasagne was tasty, chunky garlic bread and yummy pizza. all very filling and comfiort food. bit pricey but not by much. we'd go back.

went here a few weeks ago for a late lunch with 2 friends. all the food was excellent. i had the bolognese alla tagiatelle, my friends had the calzone and spicy penne with chicken. we all enjoyed our food (and each others) and were impressed by the genuineitalianproducts available to buy! would definitely come again - best bolognese i've ever had!

good food. visited on 7-4-11. a tradtionally busy place with good food and decent service. we had fabby food although for a veryitalianresteraunt the coffee was very poor. please invest or train your staff better...

ha ha!. just read kaz's review - yes, in my limited knowledge, domenico (or dominic as he is known to his friends) is indeed the owner. and if it is the same guy, what a tube for reviewing his own restaurant! gold leaf pizza indeed!

good, but the price?!. been a few times, nice staff, good atmosphere. the food is good enough, but i have to say, with so many equally gooditalianplaces to eat in close proximity, i can't see how they can justify the prices charged.

i eat there often and think its fab.

it's a gooditalianbistro but not a restaurant. the upstairs and downstairs have the same menu, and however much they try to persaude you, avoid the dank and cold downstairs. it offers a great take-away service of their menu. unfortunately situated close to an arguably betteritalianrestaurant a few steps down the road.

bella napoli. authenticitalianfare in the southside. formal restaurant at the back, quick service meals and snacks and great coffee at the front of house.
plenty to choose from in the menu, all theitalianclassics are here and prepared to a great standard and reasonable prices.

bestitalianrestaurant in glasgow!. for anyone who has been looking for anitalianrestaurant that serves really good authenticitalianfood, bella napoli is the place for you! the owners put their heart and soul into this place the best it can be. the menu is vast, everything from stone baked pizzas to massive grilled prawns. the restaurant is also large, split into 2 parts, where you can choose to dine in an intimate setting or have a casual meal or just a coffee in a cafe/deli setting. but don't let a big menu & a big restaurant fool you into thinking that standards will suffer. this is real deal, a great institution toitalianfood and a gem in the southside of glasgow.
