once again the bella napoli surpassed itself with great quality food,terrific service from staff and a seafood pizza and antipasta made this week by the owner dominic! fantastic,all very reasonably priced.

£3.25 for a can of soft drink really is taking the ...... £31 for 4 soft drinks, one side order of tomato spaghetti, focaccia with tomato and a small ice cream with cherries .....

firstly let me say that this is a place where my wife and i and my family have been many times but my feelings for this restaurant are starting to wane or certainly be tested which is saddening!
the last time there on the 19th of january we booked a lunch for 8 people and were put downstairs which was ok. however it quickly became apparent that heating the downstairs restaurant was not a priority and the oil heater that my pregnant wife had to edge closer to was not up to the task! the food was ok and the service in the main was good however an older (sadly not wiser) silver haired waiter managed to ruin our experience as when he decided to get involved with our table it was as unskilled a customer service performance as i've seen in a while with a dismissive attitude towards us almost directly rude, failure to ask about menus for desert, dumping plates down, crashing plates as he cleared up, forgetting pnenof the dessert dishes altogether! this was almost a comical performance in the service industry by this clown! come on bella napoli pull your socks up and get back to staff training basics!

babies not welcome at bella napoli. we went for lunch today with 2 chatty girls and a very happy 5 month old - after 20 minutes the manageress offered the 5 month old a waver and asked if he was hungry - sensing that she was in fact trying to keep him quiet i advised that her actions made us feel very uncomfortable, he was 5 months old, happy, and that there was not much we could do if he wanted to "chat" - she advised that she had to think of her other customers dining at lunchtime, who may complain because of the noise - we advised that we were her customers too- the whole incident made us feel very uncomfortable, so much so that we cancelled our food order and left - much to the horror of the other customers who asked why were we leaving and had the manageress asked us to leave - so 0 out of 5 for bella napoli - we will be advising friends and colleagues about the poor service received today, with a very strong recommendation not to go there if you have young children.

good place to eat. when i visit glasgow and am looking for a nice restaurant i go to this establishment. good friendly service , nice atmosphere and good food

enjoyable standard italian fare. lasagne was tasty, chunky garlic bread and yummy pizza. all very filling and comfiort food. bit pricey but not by much. we'd go back.

never again. i had breakfast with my friend, the resturant was rather quiet but we still waited 10 minutes for the waiter to take our order as the staff were hanging around chatting. when the food arrived the two full breakfasts we ordered were utterly disgusting! everything was deep fried including the mushrooms and bacon, the toast had been sitting under a hot lamp which resulted in it being brick hard. the waiter asked if everything was alright and when i pointed out that i was'nt impressed he replied with 'what do you want me to do about it?'....he did nothing! not even a free coffee. i paid the £22.00 bill and vowed never to return again. food and service - rubbish don't chance it!

expensive but compared to other places on the southside, worth it. large portions, quote friendly and helpful staff. we are usually in late when it is quieter. great quality steak and adorable sauces however the price will probably make you think twice. 10 x better than the granary but almost twice the price.

went here a few weeks ago for a late lunch with 2 friends. all the food was excellent. i had the bolognese alla tagiatelle, my friends had the calzone and spicy penne with chicken. we all enjoyed our food (and each others) and were impressed by the genuine italian products available to buy! would definitely come again - best bolognese i've ever had!

good food. visited on 7-4-11. a tradtionally busy place with good food and decent service. we had fabby food although for a very italian resteraunt the coffee was very poor. please invest or train your staff better...

first time at bella napoli and loved it to bits. expensive but great.

linguiene sea food. joke"!!! 13 quid wasted!!!!!!! 8 mussels 3 king prawns and a few baby prawns. pasta over cooked and sauce bland. the service was also terrible. i never complained cos i didnt want to make a fuss... even then when i was leaving the rude staff never said goodbye. domenico corrolla u should be ashamed and wear a mask when charging they prices for that dish cos its daylight robbery!! people have done time for less!!

poor italian. we came here for my birthday , service was ok , food was awful . ordered mussels which were sent out some mussels still closed, some still with beard and the ones open were very rubbery and tasteless! main course sorprano pasta bake , possibly the worst dish i have ever had put down in front of me!!! was swimming in oil and i mean swimming!!! when i notified the waiter he looked at it and was embarrassed and immediately took it away. how the cook didn't notice or didn't bother is beyond me !! waiter came back and said he told off the chef , what goods that to me though !! never were charged for it but would have refused to pay whether tony sorprano was there or not !!! service was ok and the pizza was ok my girlfreind got . she is a pizza fan and this wasn't up there with her favourites !over priced and crap food will never be back far better italians out there.

far beyond expectations. the food is just moderate,but the atmosphere in the restaurant can make you chock.cracked tiles,dirty chairs and the faces of the owners,and prices up in the sky will help you take a clear decision not to go back there anymore

great for me. first time diner at bella napoli, really good, fillet with epper sauce to die for! great coffee too. pizzas are the best i've had in a long time. great service. easy to recommend.
