better off going to pizza hut. i known that thisplaceis supposed to be "traditional italian" but i've eaten traditional italian in other cities including naples & at many of my italian friends houses & this pizza was not good!

i know that traditionally toppings on a real italian pizza are minimal, but thisplacetook the basic toppings to the extreme, you hardly got anything on the pizza. we tried a few different types and they were all bad-we were starving and still chose not to finish our pizzas.

we felt really disappointed because we paid alot of money for these "traditional italian pizzas" which seriously lacked in taste & substance.

overall we felt like we might as well have gotten a disgusting pizza from dominos or another sub quality fast food joint-at least then we would have gotten what we paid for and wouldn't have been left hungry afterwards!

if you are going to charge so much for a pizza, don't give so little!

fine food but big attitude. we have been to beccofino for several time and always find food quite reasonable. however, the manager of theplacereally got a big attitude to his clients. while we are trying to explain the mistake they have made in doing the order, he basically tell us (20+ people!!) to leave the restaurant immediately and not to come back anymore - also accusing you have not order wine?!. to be embarrassed by a restaurant manager in front of all your family and friends is definitely not the best experience you can have in the night.

food is fine, but not interesting in getting such services.

disappointing. from the beginning to the end thisplaceis wrong. first of all they do not do reservations and finally after reaching there you get told to return or expect a call in half an hour. at this point you are already thinking that this better be worth it.

going into the restaurant the waiters were inexperienced, didn't know the menu , read out all the specials like she was in a rush and had no idea herself what were they about.

we ordered our entrée and mains. entrée arrived within 10 minutes and the main order took over 45 mins to come. we were sick of thisplaceby then and didn't want to even look at the desert menu and just get out of there.

being travelled all over the world we have been to restaurants, this definitely ranks as one of the lowest.

going back to my initial comment, was it worth the 30 minutes wait after walking in to get seated. no it wasn't by miles.

best pizza in brisbane. you cant book a table at thisplaceso get in quick. pizza was fantastic. do yourself a favour and grab a beccofino pizza

this is theplaceif you want authentic pizza. i tried all the pizzeria's in briabane and this is the only one the reminds me of the pizza that i had in italy %100. cant wait to go back!

wow. i heard about thisplacethrough word of mouth and am glad we chose to dine here last night. we had the calamari for a starter follow by some of the best pasta ive ever had. my gf had the trecce alla norma and i myself tried their famous pappardelle al ragu d’anatra. nothing short if perfect! delicious food and a romantic atmosphere. the dishes were out within about 15 minutes and the staff were friendly. we will definitely be dining here again! thank you, thank you, thank you

it’s always bustling, so rock up early or prepare to wait. the staff are communicative when it comes to wait times.

food wise, the pizza is always great with thin bases. we like the pepperoni pizza and the truffle pizza - which taste exactly as their name suggests. simple and delicious. great consistency between visits - including takeaway.

pasta wise - our go to is the duck ragu, which i encourage all to try.

thisplaceis consistently good, and delivers well each time.

wonderful service and great authentic italian cuisine. it is sad you cannot book but if you like a glass of wine and can arrive early the wait is worth it. i think this may be the best service in an extremely busyplacein brisbane with good food to support it!

i haven't tried the pizza here, but the pasta mains are pretty good. limited options for pasta though. their antipasto starters are decent but overpriced for what you get. desserts were cheapish but meh, they need better options there. theplaceis well serviced with waiters definitely trying to work for tips. good not great, would go back, maybe.

beccofino is a popular italian restaurant recommended to me by espresso&matcha . with my pizza craving growing day by day, we decided to catch up with her to see what the hype is all about. it was a weekday evening and theplacewas nearly packed. after a quick wait, we were politely greeted and taken to one of their last indoor table. a view of their menu revealed traditional italian offering with an extended pizza selection. between the three of us, we ordered tartufo, gamberi piccanti, speck pizzas and a single serve of insalata di finocchio salad to keep mum happy ;-).

busy on a tuesday night but had a seat for us. the service was friendly. duck ragu with pappardelle was delicious and not too salty. pizzas were really good with a nice thin base. tiramisu for dessert was also very good! i've heard lots of good reviews about thisplaceand it lived up to the hype.

definitely my favouriteplaceto go in brisbane- pizza is always fantastic, and the calamari~ well there is simply none better! the service, changing wine menu and food menu always keeps things different and great!

i don't know what is better here the food or the service. went here for dinner on a wednesday night and theplacewas full. parking in and around the area is an issue if you don't live local.

a greatplaceto go for dinner with a date or a couple of friends. don't go in a big group! their no reservations rule, which i find a bit ridiculous, means you'll have to wait for ages if you come on a weekend with more than 3-4 people. the food is great and reasonably priced with big portion size, staff were very friendly and attentive. between the group i was with, there were a few pizzas and pastas ordered and all were really good. the tiramisu for dessert was also a winner, though the chocolate dessert we ordered ended up just being a pizza crust with chocolate drizzled on top (the only food let down of the night). i will definitely be back again to try more of their menu!
