amazing service, food and atmosphere. yes more expensive than mcdonalds, but the food is worth it! tasty tasty!!! great place to have a date night.

pleasant surprise. don't normally eat at baton rouge (find it overpriced) but went for lunch and it was very good. lunch rib special was as big as dinner and at half the price. i'll go back for lunch.

ordered the tuna as an app, it was so disgusting i stopped there.

what is up with the ribs fuss?. i keep hearing about how the ribs are delicious! there good but nothing incredible.... the fries are delicious though! the atmosphere is very noisy, which i do not like but is not always a bad thing. the prices are a bit steep but still a descent place.

yikes. i often dine out at fine dining locations, some good, some not so good. this particular location had to be the worst. the management is rude and unaccommodating, and hardly value reservations. i felt like i was in an episode of seinfeld and my rental car was given away. the one manager, peter, was particularly rude. i'm not sure what his problem was, i suggest this restaurant simply doesn't value a paying guest. that being said, the food was decent and the service was friendly, but management needs to reevaluate their procedures.

friday night was great, second this week, salmon was done perfect and my wife loved her ribs. server jake is really trained well.

had dinner with office colleagues on one of my kanata trips. place is pretty decent- just another steak house and the service was good too. i got some nice veg pasta for me to relish. the chef custom made it for my vegetarian palate. others loved their food and drinks too. the place was pack even on mid week, which kinda indicates that it must be liked by many.
nice experience overall.

this is a review for the hunt club baton rouge.. sorry to post on the kanata one but i guess the one on hunt club doesn't want the truth or no one has added them since they're a fairly new location.

the service was decent.. the food the horrible.  i went with my gf and her two kids.. the kids menu has 4 options.. all unhealthy crap.    the kids chicken fingers were unseasoned/unflavoured garbage.  i ordered the 16oz ribs.. which were first of all over priced.. $28 before tax.   the top long rack of ribs were literally burnt to shit.. hardly any meat on them.. and they had the nerve to stick a 3 rack of ribs underneath which were perfect.    my gf just ordered the spinach dip because there was nothing appealing to a vegetarian..  the dip was just goo and sweet crap - and they served it with tortilla chips..  a total disaster and waste of time.   dont be a sucker and enter this location.

good service. terrible food, spinach dip was sloppy and sweet. left a terrible taste in my mouth. disgusting amount of fries, but they tasted okay. if you go with children, do not order the fried chicken and i'd suggest asking the waiter to give half the normal amount of fries, unless you want your kids to be sick on the ride home.

it was good service, really busy for a tuesday. got the ribs and thought they were well done. would go again. not a fan of the new logo outside. looks cheap.

simply put, the food, in no way, matches the atmosphere of the restaurant. i tried 2 dishes. the ahi tuna steak was supposed to be lime and ginger marinated. lime i tasted, ginger, i didn't. the vegetables were cold and bland. the side salad was a bitter mesclun mix with too much cabbage. it's summer, you can do better. i disliked it so much i traded plates with another person. the lobster risotto was more like corn rice soup. risotto is supposed to be thick, this was not. every bite was inundated with corn. i think there was more corn than rice. others at the table (large group) were fine with their food, others were not. the various servers were personable and knowledgeable. the service was well timed and efficient. i will say that not once did anyone ask how everything was, only if we needed anything. i guess if you don't ask, no one complains.

not bad but not worth the money
service was excellent and the food was ok but a little pricey for what you got. the penne was normal but the ribs were not special.

we had prim steak the special one. it was 2/3 only fat and was in the middle of the steak .plus i had a bake patatoe with sour cream and butter .but everything was already on the patatoe i couldn't see the butter did not melt so my first bite was the full butter .and i think that butter was not salty.it was gross .that was my wedding gift from my sister

loud when the restaurant is full. i think it's because of the open ceiling.

had one of my worst ever dining experiences here. it wasn't just that the food was beyond subpar or that the service was indifferent and inattentive. it's that it was clear that nobody running the place really gives a damn. they have a captive market, i suppose, so they don't feel as though they have to even try all that hard. that might be ok for others, but i'll never eat there again.
