connecticut represent!. dear gman,
i'm originally from connecticut. usually one doesn't see mention of "connecticut-style" as one would normally expect "new haven-style" (coal oven, light sauce/cheese). but urban does a nice job of pizza and it's a good facsimile of a pizza from modern apizza or numerous others in the new haven area not named sally's or pepe's. good charred crust - which to me should be the star of any pizza - and excellent flavor on ingredients and sauce.
i regularly send my former ct colleagues there when in the area. at least the ones who can still stand loud music, anyway - and it can be loud. salads aregreattoo.
as to your "connecticut, really?" comment, i assure you the nutmeg state offers more exceptional pizza per capita than any of the other 49. in any pizza trade publication there are usually 5-8 ct pizza places included in their top 100 "must eat" lists. for a little state, it's a big pizza influence.
