i know what your thinking -.... i know what you're thinking -- "this is one of those frou-frou places that you're wife drags you to" -- and you'd be right about that. you're wanting a chicken fried steak, but you're afraid all they're gonna have on the menu is one of those cucumber sandwiches with the crust cut off. well, gentlemen, let me assure you,barron'sis much more than that.

barron's is whupping up some downright tasty vittles, and most of them you won't even be embarrassed to order. be sure to go on a friday at lunch and order the hot and crunchy chicken. it's delicious!!! you'll be going back for more. if you're there at night, try the southwest pasta, and see if you can stand the heat -- that thing will light you up!!! do these things, and not only will you have a full belly, but you'll have a happy wife, and as you know, a happy wife = a happy life.

nice experience. i occasionally like to treat myself. i stopped inbarron'stoday during a very busy lunch hour (12:30) and placed to-go order. thanksbarron'sfor delicious food and excellent treatment of the single diner. i'll be back.

a bit over-done. this is east texas, not new york city. cafebarron'sis over-rated, at least to me and certainly over-priced. in the early days of the coffee bar, you could get a good cup of coffee and browse a book, but with it being more of a gift shop and over done sidewalk cafe wanna be. if you wish to be over-charged, go to starbuck's.

top 10. cafebarron'sis a wonderful place to eat, whether it be a lunch date with girlfriends, wedding dinner party, or a romantic date with your better half, cafebarron'shas it all. the waitresses are all very knowleged on the menu and seem to love their job! great ambience, great food, great people but not so great on the pocket book..... wait did i just write their next commercial??? hummm...
