bardenay has been a favorite of mine since they opened the eagle location right on the river. in the summer, the patio is the best place to sit and enjoy a cold beverage and watch the river and even listen to live music on wednesday nights. in the winter, you can cozy up next to the beautiful fireplace and enjoy the best hot buttered rum in town! i highly recommend bardenay.

one of the best!. from seafood to steak, this place has it. my favorite is the cracked wheat sourdough & albacore tuna sandwhich.
it has a hug wine and drink list and the atmosphere can range anywhere between casual and business. we like to entertain family and clients there. we especially love the patios in the summer. great place for lunch or dinner.
also has some interesting history.

if you want atmosphere. when you start talking about a restaurant, you brag about the food. for me, when i walked into bardenay i was taken back by the look, the feel, the atmosphere. brick, copper, and wood very rustic. the food is nothing to be put on the back burner, daily specials and drinks to match. if what you are looking for is a great meal, bardenay is the place to start.

the basque district. i love this place. the atmosphere is as good as the food and drinks. brunch is amazing on sundays paired with a mimosa. soup for lunch and for dinner, pasta with a side pitcher of mojitos is great. a must try among boise restaurants.

a boise staple!!. i've been a regular at bardenay for at least 6 years....(we are talking 1+ times a week) why... because the food, drinks, and service is so good, so dependable, did i mention so good!! try the mojito, and the spirits they make on site, the clams, the hummus, the specials the chefs create with seasonal fare..... you will love it i promise!!

amazing food and drinks!. i recently ate at the downtown boise bardenay and fell in love with the clams and the black bean sweet potato chimichanga, they were both delicious. everyone needs to try them!

best chicken satay ever. the red curry & turmeric marinated chicken was tender and the hoisin-peanut sauce was the best i've had anywhere. now on to the hand made mojito sorbet. great menu too. lots of interesting choices.

i had the scallop special which was awesome. the pomegranate mojito was yummy. it tasted like a sweet tart. great service.
