balthazar cafe is like the book on the shelf with no cover but an unbelievable story. this place is a hidden gem. went down to foodland to buy some fruit and veg. didn't think i would be getting world class service, food and conversation (thank you christian and nigel). verynicecafe

good prices,nicespace, yummy food and great service. my dad introduced us to this place a couple of years ago. i was a bit sceptical, my dad wouldn't know gourmet if it was served to him at a wedding (true story, my wedding). however time and time again they have consistently provided a classy but warm atmosphere, lovely smiling service and cracking pizzas. the coffee is of a good standard too.

best marinara ever!!. love the marinara seafood ! very fresh seafood! the sauce is light but very very nice! comfortable seating and the waiters are veryniceand helpful! wouldn't mind driving all the way down for anicedinner, totally worth it!

bad coffee bad food but good service :/. i've had a few bad experiences here & finally decided to leave a review. ordered the lot breakfast with scrambled eggs & a cappuccino. the coffees used to be reallynicehere but sadly they're now very milky & average.
the breakfast lookedniceenough but there was a lot of grease on the plate. this wouldn't have deterred me if it actually tasted nice! the mushrooms & scrambled eggs were both so overly salty that they were inedible. i tried to balance it out with some bread (which was half burnt) & bacon but the bacon was also super salty so it was impossible to eat. the service is good & they refunded my money but still a very disappointing experience as i went home hungry!

om-nom-nom. we went there on a friday a bit late in dinner service but the meal came out within 15minutes. fishermans basket was fresh and the salad was reallynicetoo. the steak was incredible, big chunk of meat cooked perfectly with a few veggie's and beautiful gravy. 2 meals, 2 drinks and a garlic bread for around $70- loved it.
