fast service with food served very quickly. ordered the beef ball and sliced beef pho and the bun. both were good. will definitely visit again if we come back to ballarat.

tasty noodle and soup dishes, plus a really generous serve of steamed dumplings. reasonably priced and quick service, however not the friendliest place - staff came across as somewhat indifferent to customers.  go for the food, not the ambience!

it is in a good location, decently priced and portions are enough. the wait time was not very long and overall a good experience. will consider going back when visit ballarat in future.

had a very bad experience here,

food was really greasy like a food hall.

really weird flavours, in a bad way

even though the portions were massive, there is no point in having massive portions of bad food.

hardly any seafood in the seafood dish, mainly just vegetables.

overrated

great value for money. the portions are a good size and they're generous with the meat. the veggies are nice and fresh as well. the pho soup was great and the meat was cooked nicely.

i had a bad experience tonight at this vietnamese noodle shop. we spent quite decent amount tonight but at the end got humiliated by the owner (i think she is the owner). my noodle was undercooked and was sent back. as many people, i always nervous when sending food back. 10mins later another bowl was brought out from the kitchen. it tasted spicier and this time was overcooked. one of the meats (cha) tasted old and frozen. i couldn't have too much and had to leave more than half. i was tipping they re-heated the food instead of make new one. my partner asked me if i wanted him to let them know. i was hesitated but said yes. i thought we could tell them how we felt about the food on the way out. in my surprise, my partner brought the noodle bowl back to the counter, talked to a staff and asked for refund. he is a westerner and bellieved if you aren't happy with your food, you should not pay for it. however, i had never wanted refund for this one bowl of noodle soup. i overheard the staff translated to the owner in vietnamese and immidiately came up to the counter to explain. she got heated quickly when my partner asked for refund and said to the staff in vietnamese "no refund, i don't earn much money from this bowl of noodle soup. if they didn't like spicy, they should have asked". i don't mind spicy food but the issue was undercooked then overcooked food and old food taste. her attitude got worse when i came up and said i didn't want a refund and thought the food was re-heated too much and turned overcooked. she then yelled at me in vietnamese that she did make new soup and i had already eaten the food so no refund. she also added aggressively and rudely that i was nothing and my money was worthless. sorry lady but i work hard and pay tax and went to your shop to support vietnamese business. i couldn't be bother going to a fight as i respected the elderly in our culture but shook my head and walked out. i don't know if the other customers were at the shop thought we were trouble makers but she did humiliate me in vietnamese. it's not right to treat your customers like you did tonight. i would have appreciated an apology before she got heated. i still expect an apology.

had the chicken laksa.
very tasty and quick to come out. chicken was just roast chicken but still yummy. good location and seemed popular with the locals for takeaway.
will visit again.

it's one of those places i keep going back to for the food, but hut damn the customer service is bad. when i said bad, i mean it really is the worst customer service you can imagine. rude, seemingly without knowing it, short, abrupt, rushed... the decor is poxy, it's loud with the sound of exhaust fans and sizzling woks and its cash only... yep, my biggest bug bear.

i would eat there loads more if they offered eftpos. unfortunately, i can only go there and when i have cash, which is rare, because it's just not needed anywhere anymore and it's a hassle to carry.

don't eat in, don't expect much and you'll be pleased... the food is good.

sadly i can not give a positive review as we arrived at 8.45 and were told that the restaurant was closed, even for take-away. extremely dissapointed considering i had heard nothing but good reviews

this place is okay considering we're in ballarat. the kitchen opens out into the dining area and the fish sauce is kept uncovered which means this place smells very 'authentically' vietnamese. you could do worse
