so many wonderful things to choose from on this menu that we need to come back at least 6 more times! today was breakfast...we split the huge buttermilk pancake and got breakfast burrito loaded with black beans and veggies and cheese and also a chorizo omelet. all were fantastic!
great service! huge place..so it can handle a crowd!

it’s been several years since we out-of-towners last ate here. back friday evening with a seat outside on the deck. as good if not better than we remember. service very fine, prompt, appropriately avoided chumminess. salmon for me, chicken for her. both of us very pleased. salads were as pleasing and especially so with the vegan (avocado base) green goddess dressing which had great mouth feel. the single regret that i did not order a slice of strawberry-rhubarb pie.

fantastic service and the food was amazing! fresh & flavourful. i left feeling totally full but not at all bloated, yum! i highly recommend the lavender honey latte

meh. good food, pretty fast service, very overpriced. the restaurant reminds me of someplace the girls from sex and the city would meet up for brunch, so if you're into that sort of thing, go for it. food was good, but nothing to write home about, especially for the price.

fantastic food & friendly service. giant portions, so prices are very reasonable for the high quality food that they serve. definitely recommend!

some of the best pancakes i've ever had. breakfast burrito was generous and delicious. friendly staff, to both us and our dog :) lots of water and great coffee refills. independent and interesting place!

we were not impressed with the service or the food. four of at the table and the food came one at a time. food was not hot enough and ask for plain toasted bread and it took over 5 minutes to get it. pricey too. would not go back

i am a regular customer of sara's table and absolutely love their food, as well as their commitment to local food producers, gluten-free options and high quality food. their wait-staff is phenomenal and have only had positive experiences at the restaurant. any wait that i've had for my food has been well worth it.

service getting worse, food saltier, prices higher. when i first moved to duluth, i was a big fan of sara's table where you could get a solid meal made with local ingredients for a reasonable service. and self-serve coffee is always a win for me. however, over the past four years, i've watched the quality of the food decline (since when is butter and salt a substitute for seasoning/flavor), the service continues to decrease, and the prices are sky-rocketing. $13 for a grilled cheese, really? i know that food prices are going up, but this is a bit steep especially in an area of town that consists of a large amount of college students. with bixby's gone, i hope sara's table decides to refocus on reasonably priced well-seasoned food.

mmmm. this is my go to place for breakfast, not only because of it's convenient location, but also for the serve myself coffee (no more waiting for a too busy waitress to notice my empty cup) and the plate size pancakes that have just the slightest crunch while being tender on the inside. the sandwiches at lunch while sitting out on the deck, makes for a relaxing meal.

great food, service, atmosphere. we hardly had to wait for a table despite how busy it was; food also came surprisingly fast, a nice surprise since we were on a short time frame. food was delicious!! i love the sides options. our server was lovely and accommodating, and the vibe in this place is like a sunny combo of your favorite cozy restaurant and bookstore. i will be back. but bring back the falafel please!

fantasic, real, food!. they actually serve food, not food-like substances, and it all tastes great! this duluth's primo breakfast spot, in my opinion. so casual. everyone is dragging their slippered feet around the floor with a mug of hot coffee. the breakfasts are all amazing, but "peasants eggs" is one of my favorites.

with its menu focused on local and sustainable ingredients, plethora of vegetarian and vegan options, and roomy booths made from salvaged lumber, at sara’s table chester creek cafe has a laid-back, earthy vibe that made this mostly-vegetarian feel right at home.  the breakfast menu features mostly classic american fare, with omelets, pancakes, french toast, and a few sandwiches, while the eclectic lunch and dinner menu includes falafel, thai curry, and fish tacos along with lake superior white fish and burgers. 

the worst lunch i ever had. the saddest pulled pork sandwich with tasteless soup and server was a snot! this is a neighborhood restaurant and iv'e been here about six times. i keep returning in the hopes that they will pull t together as i want to support my local businesses but this is shameful.

great food but slow.. don't go if they are busy. we waited about 20 minutes for a table. food came slowly, but it was great. recommendation: pancake with bananas and chocolate chips.
