ashker's juice bar and cafe

love it. great place. the staff and owners are just awesome people, always get to enjoy having great conversations with them when i'm there. the atmosphere is great, very comfortable, laid back space. they just added some chairs and tables outside too. they also get the community involved by inviting nutrition professionals in to do nutrition screenings, they have art showings and more. overall, thisplaceis just awesome, such a great addition to the elmwood strip and adds to the culture perfectly. and most importantly, the food, smoothies and tea are always great and the prices are very reasonable.

happened upon thisplaceon an elmwood stroll and couldn't be more pleased. we went in for smoothies and will definitely be back for lunch! or breakfast because they serve it all day. which is excellent. reasonable prices for organic ingredients also. will be back multiple times i'm sure

i have to say for the nice price and the casual atmosphere, this is our new favoriteplaceto catch a healthy and yummy meal. really fresh and perfect salads wraps and pannini...staff is so nice and unaffected (unlike other places on elmwood sometimes.)

never got served. i was really excited to check thisplaceout after looking it up online. it is a cool lookingplacewith tasteful music and decorating. when i got there i could not find a menu anywhere. once i got the young man's attention at the counter he could not find a single menu and offered what appeared to be the one he was working off of since it was smeared by several colors of juice. he seemed incredibly overwhelmed and nervous. i presume it was his first day. i ordered a green juice (can't remember the name) he charged me somewhere around $4.20 and then i waited. i continued to wait for maybe 15 minutes. after awhile i approached them about my drink. he told me that the juicer was broken and it would be a little longer. so i continued to wait. eventually he told me that it would not be fixed for an hour. imagine that...a juice bar with no juicer. you think they would have two going or atleast a back up juicer. i was very sweet about it and was refunded less than what i paid..but still said nothing and instead asked when they would be open tomorrow. a man from the back told me 9am...twice. so even though i had a terrible experience i decided to drive back (40 minute drive) the very next morning in hopes of trying one of their juices. i was there at 9am and they were not open...no lights, nothing. so i decided to go to a bakery instead...when walking back to my car around 10am i saw the man who told me they open at 9am sitting out front. so sadly i was very disappointed. i usually give most places a couple chances, but i doubt i will ever go back. their customer service was unacceptable.

great place. fantastic food, drinks, and atmosphere. staff super friendly and anxious to please. had a wonderful evening....ate a ton of delicious food, and drank coffee specials. will go back again and again.....and take good book to read. greatplaceto relax and talk with friends.
