ashker's juice bar and cafe

ashkers has refreshing cold pressed juices that will give you an energy boost, a vitamin boost, and an ‘ahhh’ boost. in the elmwood village, right on 1002 elmwood ave, buffalo, ny 14222 actually, is a small juice bar, bistro and gallery. in addition to a nice selection of juices, ashkers also does wraps, panini, salads and soups. i haven’t tried theirfoodyet, but i will certainly get plenty of chances to. i love juicing, and when i do it i tend to fast, so i didn’t grab anyfoodthe first time i was there, but i had ashkers upbeet juice which they made and brought out to me while i was sitting at a table. the second juice was a type of green machine (that’s not it’s real name) which was the day’s special which i took to-go for

great spot. delicious freshfoodand amazing juices. i'm a big fan of their breakfast selections too.

smoothies. right now they are currently doing renovations but it won't stop me from coming. allfoodand drink items are made fresh. get the smoothies at least once a week. they aren't too sweet or sugary. doesn't melt or get watery in the summer weather. large menu with many healthy options. sandwiches, breakfast, salads, coffee drinks. cool cafe vibe inside. many people having meetings or casual get togethers. free wifi.

on buffalo rising and buffalo spree, they'll occasionally have previews of restaurants that are about to open. normally, we don't do that but last weekend we found ourselves sitting in what used to be comfort zone cafe on elmwood. comfort zone left about 2 weeks ago and the day after they left, ashker's moved in. last saturday when we walked into the restaurant they were in the process of remodeling and selling off the old furniture. i had a short but very pleasant conversation with the owner, angelo, about their plans for the building; they are hoping to completely renovating the inside and offer a full juice bar. he also has plans to expand their menu to include more vegan and vegetarian options. this isn't the first restaurant for the owners, they run several restaurants in lewiston including another ashker's cafe. quick info: restaurant type: casual/cafe cuisine: cafe/coffee shop price: jucies/smoothies under $5,foodunder $10 location: elmwood even though the kitchen wasn't going
