not your typical "tacoma" restaurant. asado is a refreshing respite from the sometimes unpleasant 6th street district of tacoma. i love the sophistication and relaxingatmospherecreated by the dim lights and argentinian music.
the only thing to beware of is the smell. both times i've eaten there i come out smelling like a smoky steak. i didn't really notice the smell while i was inside, but boy, after i left my hair and clothes were quite pungent.
i'd deem it totally worth it though. the steak was done perfectly, the corn side dish was delicious and i had one of the best salads i've ever had; and i like salads!
i highly recommend asado.
