we were staying in bab al qasr hotel during their soft opening stage. it was very hard reaching the new hotel as the signs weren't there and the gps lost us.
we tried artisan for their breakfast buffet. the restaurant is adjacent to the pool but we couldn't sit outside due to the hot weather.
the selection of the buffet was huge, there was something for everyone, yet to be honest, nothing really stood out, it was all average to good.
the service was amazing, the staff were very helpful and brought our drinks almost immediately when we asked for it. the design of the restaurant was just ok.
it is worth mentioning that they had lunch items in the buffet as well, like rice. they also had a wide selection of fresh juices, it tasted nice except the pomegranate which was a bit bitter. the coffee and tea were tasty and well prepared.
all in all we didn't complain about the food, but we didn't feel like we enjoyed much. we will not visit this restaurant again.
