i took a client there forlunchtoday.  i called first thing this morning to make a reservation for 11:00 a.m. (and they are open for breakfast so should have taken the call) and had to leave a voice mail.  no one called me back within an hour and a half, so i called again and this time someone by the name of raphaele (female - not sure of spelling) answered.  i told her i had left a message but hadn't heard back, so she took all of my information and said i had a reservation for 11:00 a.m. as requested. my client arrived before me a few minutes prior to the appointment time, asked if there was a reservation under my name, and she said there was no reservation under my name. the person at the front seated her and when she asked for a different table because the one she was given was tiny, she was told that it will get very busy inside and the only other option was outside.  the restaurant was practically empty.  when i arrived and was also told no reservation existed under my name.  she was very nonchalant when i explained i had called earlier and was given a reservation.  this is very bad customer service, especially since this was a businesslunchand i would have liked to have made a better impression.  the goat cheese dip is delicious but my pesto shrimp salad had very chewy and overcooked shrimp in it.  i probably won't return.

good food - terrible service - bad experience. the service was remarkably bad. it took 30 minutes to get our appetizer. the waiter was unconcerned and even when the manager comped the first course, we reminded them that we didn't come for free food. we came for a nicelunchout. an experience we did not receive.

never got to eat there. so, i really wanted to eat here. it looks tasty, cute, etc. however, when i went i apparently arrived too late for breakfast. 10am was too late? they handed me alunchmenu and wine list. really? wine at 10am? they're only open a few hours, and it's a small place - how about keep serving breakfast a bit longer?

arcadia farms café has long been known as the respite for girl lunches and get-togethers, but men the food here is fabulous! factor in some of the most delicious pastries and deserts around, a lovely patio and a warm and friendly staff and yourlunchis guaranteed to be splendid, (also did we mention you will score big points for bringing your favorite girl here!) schmooze , always following the recommendations of our wonderful servers, was excited to try the strawberry chicken salad and talk about a beautiful and delish choice! it was almost a shame to eat it! the strawberries were vine ripened and sweet, not a sour one among them, and the chicken was grilled to perfection! the salad was topped off with toasted almonds and glazed with the most enticing poppyseed vinaigrette! the

perfect in the spring/fall!. this is a woman's childhood tea-party come to life! super quaint on the inside with 1950's farmhouse style decor and a beautiful white umbrella patio. food is simple, fresh, and always delicious. try the caramel baked brie or the caper and salmon appetizer.
lots of salads and sandwiches for lunch. make it one of yourlunchdates in the spring or fall so you can take advantage of the breezy patio.

not just for ladies anymore. on a visit in late december we hadlunchin the courtyard on a warm and sunny day in scottsdale. the arizona winter sun was warm against our skin and the soup, salad and sandwiches were fresh and tasty. arcadia farms is an arizona classic, and not just for ladies anymore - although 4 out 5 diners are the fairer sex. men: go forth and enjoy, too.
