having been to bier library and big brewsky too many times, we decided to try a new brewery. like, if one is inbangaloreand is not exploring breweries, what is the point of being in the city at all?

food
flaming chicken buffalo soldier - 5/5 - must in the "try something new" - the dish offers a beautiful blend of spices with a subtle taste of coconut. the chicken was juicy and flavourful. rare to fund a good offbeat dish

texmex fries - 5/5 - must try for vegetarians - it is a well portioned dish, with cheese, guacamole and sour cream

nachos - 5/5 - must try for vegetarians - it is a well portioned dish, with cheese, guacamole and sour cream

grilled smokey bbq chicken - 5/5 - the chicken was fresh, juicy, flavourful and off-the-bone

spaghetti agliolio - 4/5 - the pasta was well made with a nice serving of olives. a little bit of extra olive oil and garlic would have made it perfect

drinks

hefeweizen - 3.5/5 - i am a big fan of hefeweizen and like to try this where ever i go. the beer was okay. i would say the best hefeweizen i have found inbangalorehas been at the wind mills

virgin mojito - 5/5 - the drink was well made, refreshing, not too sugary

ambience - 3.5/5 - the brewery is spacious and there are enough seats available for indoor and outdoor seating. the lighting is cosy. however, it acoustics in this place are a little off. you will have to shout to be audible to the person sitting next to you. the facilities are not that well maintained

service - 3.5/5 - the staff was largely polite but in the hustle and bustle of customers you can expect to get ignored a bit. when a server tells you "every thing on the menu is good" or "please check menu for food" - you know something is definitely lacking

will i go again - maybe, while i definitely enjoyed the food, the ambience and the service disappointed a bit.

the unique selling point of arbor brewing company is its sheer size - although, in spite of that, you might be jostling the crowd a fair bit on weekends. their brews range from the pale ale to the irish stout to even spiced ale, but it is the wheat beer -bangalorebliss - that is most popular among beer drinkers. try the flaming chicken for starters - it is spicy and citrusy at the same time, and works well with beers. the black bean nachos too are quite decent. they have also got tacos and fajitas, but if you want a full meal, their burgers seem to be a good choice.

abc has the most amazing staff ever 👌 our steward subrata was a very warm and nice person 👏 they had this amazing brewed beers, bangalorebliss and mango flavoured beers were awesome and their chilli chicken is simply out of this world, we ordered it thrice among just four people. they also help you customize your dish to your liking. one can never regret not going to this place 😍

i really enjoyed the ambience and the beer they served. we went in around 7ish during weekday. it was moderately inside crowded inside with nice decor. we started off with the 9sampler. and chose phatt abbot andbangalorebliss out of the nine that came. there was another good tasting craft beer as well named i no parking but we had to order pitcher so just tried the sample. i did not like the taste of the ipas or the coffee flavoured beer. the coffee flavoured once tasted like black cold black coffee but with thicker consistency. overall it was a fun night with beer and food. we had ordered a pizza and another arrabiata pasta with chicken. the food was more than enough for 2 . really enjoyed the pasta! no complaints! although a bit costly i must say but the experience was good and i wont mind visiting again. if you want a relaxed chill night out with good food and beer then i would suggest this place. :) the setting and the ambience was also very soothing and welcoming.

i visited them as a friend of my mine recently shifted tobangaloreand he suggested me after seeing the review. i chose to sit on table number smoking2- s9.

the ambiance is good and quite spacious and pretty neat and clean.

we ordered forbangalorebliss pitchers, chimichuri prawns, turkish egg and lamb chops. now, the lamp chops were pathetic (as it can't be a lamp chops, as it contains 80% of bones in it and the sizes looks like it's some chicken wings you ordered). the food wasn't upto the mark and seriously i don't know how they got 4.7 ratings in zomato (it's a pure bluff). the food isn't good at all.

i must say, if you are a food lover then you should not visit them. they are looting and being fraudulent with people by not giving them proper food (what they quote in their menu).

their services is simply pathetic and even for the brews they are taking 20-25 mins to bring to your table.. the service is really damn slow and pathetic. lastly spoke to sonam one of their manager and she said the chef only came up with the food menu and food quantity. the steward abhilash is horrible in bringing the food and drinks to your table.

ambiance: 3/5
food: -1/5 (there is no option of putting 0.5 or -1, hence gave 1)
service: 0/5

we had been meaning to try out this place for quite some time as we have heard rave reviews about it. as you walk in, you see a massive setup with both indoor and outdoor seating. the entire place is very well lit with tungsten lighting and all the furniture is wood which gives it a very rustic feel. the elephant in the room obviously is the massive brewery which is visible to everyone behind a glass panel. they serve about 8 varieties of beer which is more than almost anywhere else in the city.
beverages
detroit swindle, west coast julep, litchi and lemongrass martini, jackson’d. in terms of cocktails we thought this place did an absolutely great job. the detroit swindle is certainly one of the better cocktails we had through the evening. the cranberry and mint worked very well together. the west coast julep was rather different as it was a refreshing mango based cocktail which we certainly liked. the litchi and lemongrass cocktail a little too sweet for our liking however this can be changed quite easily with prior instructions to the bartender. the jackson’d was another highlight in the evening as it was a beer based cocktail which was mixed with gin and certainly something we could not get enough of.

appetizers
to start our meal we ordered the sweet potato fries, bangalorenachos, fancy potato skins, barbecue pork ribs, flaming chicken, charcoal grilled shrimp, beetroot sloppy joe and the crispy calamari. the sweet potato fries were very well cooked and were served with the perfect dip. it was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside which is exactly how a good plate of sweet potato fries should be. we certainly wish more places inbangalorestart serving this.
thebangalorenachos was the best amongst all the appetizers according to us. the tortilla chips were crispy and all the toppings were fresh and added a different element to the nachos. the best part was that it was served with some fresh guacamole which absolutely made our evening and we had no choice but to get our fingers dirty and finish the entire plate. the fancy potato skins were perfectly cooked with some fluffy potato on the inside however, we found it to be slightly on the blander side as it lacked seasoning of any sort. a little salt and pepper would have certainly elevated the dish. the barbecue pork ribs were commendable as they pretty much melted off the bone and the sauce it was served with complimented it so well that we had to stop ourselves from ordering another portion as we wanted to save our appetite for the rest of the meal.
the flaming chicken was perfectly cooked and we thought the toasted coconut certainly added a new dimension to the dish as we had not tasted anything like it before. the charcoal grilled shrimp was fresh which you could make out almost immediately and the smoky flavour which you got from it certainly appealed to us. the crispy calamari was well seasoned and had a great flavour profile when eaten with the dip. the beetroot sloppy joe was a bit of a disappointment as the sweetness of the beetroot overpowered the entire dish and all you would get in your mouth would be the sweetness. however, the beetroot chips which was served with it certainly needs to mentioned as we personally feel they can sell it in individual packets because it tasted very good.

main course
as we were pretty stuffed for the main course we decided to only order the buffalo chicken burger, garden pizza and the grilled salmon. the buffalo chicken burger was very good as it was seasoned perfectly and it had one of the best patties we have eaten in chicken burger. although, we felt the quality of bun could be better we weren’t really complaining considering how much we liked the chicken. the highlight of the evening undoubtedly was the grilled salmon. perfectly cooked meat which was seasoned to perfection. the asparagus paired with that drool worthy butter sauce certainly makes us want to tell everyone to try it out when they go here. the pizza was a slight miss for us as we felt the quality of toppings and cheese could be improved by quite a large margin considering beer and pizza is one of the best combinations.

dessert
the final part of our meal was certainly what made us leave with a wide smile on our faces. we ordered the banoffee pie, tiramisu and the boozy sundae. the tiramisu was slightly harder than we expected and it was a little too sweet but otherwise we gladly downed it due to our partiality towards tiramisu. the banoffee pie was simply one of the best we have ever had anywhere in the city. although, we were full we could not stop ourselves from finishing it. the boozy sundae was another showstopper which is an alcohol based dessert. the fudge brownies topped with vanilla ice – cream, kahlua mousse and chocolate sauce made sure that no matter how strong your will to diet is, the urge to eat this will always be stronger. we are surely ordering all these desserts the next time we go here.
final verdict
we had a great meal here with quick service and even better food. we feel that if you are coming here for the drinks, you must certainly pair it with some of the best desserts we have had. this place is perfect for a saturday night party or for a sunday brunch with friends. the ambience here certainly makes the place more desirable which is why we can see it is always so difficult to get a table here even though the place is absolutely massive. we would certainly recommend all of you try out this place.
